Cartel de Sinaloa Abandons Corpses In Fresnillo

"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat

The day of violence in the municipality would be the responsibility of the Sinaloa Cartel, in accordance with the authorities.

It was three in the morning and 11 minutes when a group of subjects dumped five bodies in the vicinity of the Fresnillo Supply Central, in Zacatecas, according to records from surveillance cameras placed in the area.

The first investigations by the state Secretariat of Public Security (SSP) indicate that this act, as well as the abandonment of four other bodies a few kilometers away, could be attributed to the Sinaloa Cartel.

The recording that showed the first of these events was shared by reporter Ángel Martínez through his social networks.

At the aforementioned time, a white pick-up truck stops on Jesús Varela Rico Boulevard, a few meters from the municipal market.

Two men in black clothing traveling in a truck, with difficulty, throw the bodies they were carrying in the bed onto the asphalt. After a few seconds, the unit's co-pilot goes to the rear to help them pull the bodies.

Security cameras captured how the bodies were stacked one on top of the other in front of a water and solar heaters business, while the individuals rushed to get into the truck. In less than a minute they abandoned their victims and fled.

According to the report from the General Secretariat of the State Government, along with the deceased people – whose identities have not been corroborated – threatening messages “directed at an antagonistic group” were also posted.

These episodes of violence are considered a reaction by the Sinaloa Cartel to the operations that, since the afternoon of May 5, have resulted in the capture of 26 of its members.

Another display of their ability to commit crimes in the area was the carrying out of narco blockades in the Regional Security Units (UNIRSE) of Trancoso and Pánfilo Natera.

Alleged hitmen set fire to a trailer to interrupt traffic near UNIRSE in Trancoso.

The attack at the Trancoso police base was also captured on video by the surveillance circuit. The images show the moment in which one of the alleged members of the cartel parks the vehicle with the intention of occupying the entirety of one of the lanes, while his companions block the rest of the road with cars.

Seconds later, another subject approaches the cargo unit to set it on fire and flee without any authority stopping him.

  1. Grupo Flechas already took Fresnillo Tepetongo Valparaiso Jerez Sombrete Villanueva and countless other plazas from CJNG. CJNG only has the south of the state left and by the looks of things won't be long before they lose the south too

    1. Negative .. Jaliskas can’t even hold on to the very southern tip of Zacatecas hence why you have CDS presence in the part of Jalisco that borders Zacatecas

    2. It’s crazy I still remember watching the video of that large CJNG convoy in Valparaiso wonder how many of them are still among us

    3. 8:01 realistically they are all probably dead already . Lately cjng has brought Colombians in to fight to no luck

    4. They been fighting in villa hidalgo and pinos for a while to be exact la Victoria town

    5. Who are they constantly skirmishing with in these areas then lmao? They captured quite a bit of territory there, but certainly not all of it.

    6. 1:00 CJNG would enter the state thorugh Nochistlan which is right across the border from Jalisco. They would get as far as Villanueva. Recently Los Flechas just took Villanueva. So that's why all the scrimmages in that area .

    7. 4:58 They recorded the video at the very entrance to Vallanueva, obviously it is not completely under their control.

    8. 6:45 Villanueva already feel. The cjng troops that where there retreated but still trying to make a comeback. Now it's a straight shoot to real cjng territory. Remember Monte Escobedo and how CJNG groupies swear it was never going to fall well now it's territory MZ under the command of Bruno and his Sargentos

    9. 7:37 You say "CJNG fans" being the same fan but only MZ, i don't care about both cartels and agree that MZ have advanced over the last year, they control most of Fresnillo and Jerez, yes, but not all.

Look what is happening now, friz and part of the government have turned their backs on MZ because of the murder of a relative of the governor, they already have 25 arrested and the one comandante killed, if this continues MZ will not stay in Villanueva for long.

    11. 2:25 cjng had taken the capital from 30 of CDS . CDS already took the capital back . CJNG has most of the little towns on lock but the important ones are CDS

    12. 12:55 Monreal family are compadres of MZ. For years and years. One of the Monreal got busted in Plateros with a big shipment of drugs about 10 years ago. Made headlines since he was a politician.

  2. CDS los flechas have expanded deep into SLP and they control all the major plazas in Zacatecas except for those in the south of the state like nochistlan and Jalpa

    1. This is true… MZ seems to be trying push that way… CDS has wanted to enter Jalpa for years…

  3. Operativa MZ is already pushing in the Nayarit sierra. San Blas Nayarit is also MZ all the way to Sinaloa.

  4. Man talk about taking a beating in zacatecas. CJNG time in the state was very brief. I have always heard that a dead body weighs way more than what is assumed. This video proves it. Nuff Said!!!

    2. 9:25 You are wrong! Majority of Zacatecas was always Golfos and Zetas. Only reason CJNG came in was because plaza was sold to them by Golfos.

      Delete
    3. 11:18 about 90 % of the state is MZ . And 2:11 is right the only reason why cjng even lasted 3 years was because all the plazas that where CDG became cjng

    4. Aver como le va a tus commandos de tu firma que tanto presumes. Ya los tuvieron que mandar ya que les mataron a todos los que avian mandado
      @ Connor

    5. 2:11 if you actually think about it CJNG has really bought the majority of the plazas they are in .
In GTO they paid the state government to clean it for them

In Nayarit same story they paid the local government to take out the BLO

In Zacatecas CDG flipped and became CJNG

In Chiapas a powerful CDS leader flipped and became CJNG along with all his plazas.

And the common denominator is that even with all that help they still loosing 😭😭

      Delete
  5. Operativa MZ and Grupo Flechas took the state back for el Mayo and it seems he wants to clear out SLP as well. it seems CJNG rather defend their border and fight in Michoacan and Guanajuato.

    1. Considering the saying the enemy of my enemy is a friend, how likely is it that OP MZ would ally itself with GPO 🦂 Matamoros to clear SLP from CJNG? Apparently GPO Escorpion has presence in northern San Luis and has supported the remnants of CSRL in Guanajuato.

  6. 03 asked Jardinero and Bola 08 for the Zacatecas plaza but the Flechas told them to go fuck themselves lol

  8. This year the Zacatecas is slowly returning to how it was back then thanks to only one group being the dominant force . The thing is there is a lot of rumours going around that certain police captain flipped to CJNG and is slowly making sure cjng comes back to the state . Recently the Police killed"El Gordo" one of the regional leader of MZ in Zacatecas and Los Flechas lashed out

  9. Somebody please explain to me why Zacatecas is so important without the saying routes. That Fresnillo place has been a mess since the early 2010's when the Zetas made their move. From my understanding, a lot of business owners allied with other groups to take them out. I believe a Sinaloan organization was a part of it

    1. 7:13 it's all about location bro . Zacatecas shares borders with Couhila SLP Jalisco Aguascaliente Nayarit and Durango. Also in the northern part of Zacatecas that borders Durango there is a lot of mines with natural resources. Supposedly a mine makes more money than a drug route yearly.

      Delete
    2. Mines that should be producing revenue for the governments. As it's custom in México, the corruption and unwillingness to protect those interests against the criminals allows those same criminal groups to finance themselves.

      Delete
    3. 11:57 the thing is since Mexico is very easy to corrupt a government official and there is so much money in them . Both government and organized crime are in cahoots with them mines . But you are totally right . The states should be the ones getting all the $$

    4. Plus lots of American Money sent back to Zacatecas. At one time Jerez had the most money sent back to relatives in Mexico. Lots of people are returning to retire. Feria en Jerez in March was full of tourists. Most of my family went and i was told that they had a lot Guardia National. No drama for those 10 days. 2 weeks after La Feria they killed a bartender lady and another girl. They kept selling CJNG drugs, CDS took them out. Bar El Tigre Negro. About 15 months ago they did the same with El Venadito Bar

    5. 4:12 would you agree that now that one group is more dominant than the other that things are going back to normal now somewhat?

      Delete
    6. 7:13 says don’t tell me it’s the routes when that’s exactly what it’s about… Zacatecas is the crossroads to most of Mexico… whether it’s drugs, contraband stolen minerals/precious metals etc it all passes thru Zacatecas…

  10. 7:13 in tons of articles about narcos authors how important is this or that mexican State because it's near this or that other state, the US, the sea... Considering organized crime has now expanded to all States and that there are local wars everywhere, it's easy to conclude that all States are important for each cartel's strategy of expansion... It's just bloodier where they can't control business through alliances, or where their strategy of expansion meets that of others.
