Bar Casanova Attack in Culiacan Allegedly Involves El Chapo's Nephew 'Guanito'

According to unofficial reports, one of the attackers would be Aureliano Guzmán Araujo, El Guanito and/or El Pelón, identified as the nephew of Joaquín Guzmán Loera, El Chapo.

The video shows the interior of the bar, on the day of the attack. In this, one can see the moment in which a man produces a pistol and fires a few shots into the air. While the people in the bar seek shelter, the alleged suspect approaches a man in black who is also brandishing a firearm, pointing the pistol at his head.

The son of Aureliano Guzmán Loera, aka "El Guano", is alleged to have shot inside the nightclub last Friday.

It is worth mentioning that on November 5, the US State Department offered the equivalent of 100 million Mexican pesos for information leading to the arrest of "El Guano" who would be in charge of the operations of the Sinaloa Cartel in the Badiraguato mountains and its surroundings.

After a young man was wounded with a firearm in the “Casanova” bar in Culiacán, videos were circulated in networks showing that Sinaloa policemen let the alleged perpetrators go free, as reported by Borderland Beat. A new audiovisual that could be crucial for the case was shared on social networks.

The secretary explained that the state troops were outnumbered - there were five vehicles with armed people and the policemen just four on motorcycles, so they proceeded to press their panic buttons to request reinforcements. Subsequently, they began a persecution against the people who allegedly participated in a conflict in the bar in Culiacán.
