Zeta leader sentenced to 7 life sentences in United States

Translated by Otis B Fly-Wheel for Borderland Beat from a Reforma article

Subject Matter: Marciano Milan Vazquez, El Chano, Orejon
Recommendation: No prior subject matter knowledge required

Reporter: Mauro de la Fuente
Marciano Milan Vazquez alias El  Chano or Orejon, leader of Los Zetas in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, allegedly responsible for the deaths of 300 persons, was sentenced to seven life sentences.

The ruling was announced Wednesday by the Judge of the West District Court in San Antonio, Xavier Rodriguez. Between 2011 and 2012, the Los Zetas cartel ordered the death of 300 people, including women and children, said a witness identified as J. Rodriguez in the Milan Vazquez trial in June of 2016.

The desertion of one of its leaders identified as Mario Alfonso Poncho Cuellar, said, that and internal struggle was unleashed that ended with the elimination of the allies of the latter in the organization.

Cuellar was a trusted man and compadre of Omar Trevino Morales, alias El Z-42, brother of Miguel Trevino Morales, alias El Z-40, leader of Los Zetas, both arrested in Mexico. His departure from the cartel was due to the theft of 10,000,000 dollars, according to J. Rodriguez testimony before the West District Court in San Antonio.

He detailed that most of the people who were murdered were disintegrated in containers of chemicals such as acids. The orders were to go ahead and kill everyone connected in any way with Poncho Cuellar, he said.

Women, children, adults, some had nothing to do with the cartel or drugs, there were a lot of people, more than 300 people. The kidnappings were carried out in Allende, Morelos, Acuna and Piedras Negras.

"In Piedras Negras they only told me that they 40 people on the knees, and simply, bang, bang bang, they died", he said.

Poncho Cuellar who is incarcerated in Texas, testified at the trial of Jose Trevino Morales, another brother of El Z-40, who was sentenced to 20 years in prison for money laundering.

All theses people that died were willing participants in the drug trade. An American teenager was caught up in this madness by accident. But I don't doubt his parents were somehow involved as well. As far as drugs are concerned we all make the choice 2 consume or not consume. 2 stand against drugs or not. If you are involved in the drug trade walk away while you still can. Don't use the excuse that poverty forced you 2 be involved with drugs. I grew up very poor and have never had 2 resort 2 selling drugs or doing drugs. And I grew up around drug users and pushers. If you need help don't be 2 proud 2 ask 4 help. - Sol Prendido

For justice, criminals should be able to take to hell with them as many members of their team as he can name, specially if they are commanders or capos, 7 lifetimes of prison should be worth 70 capos to keep him company and make the WoD worth something, this s3ntence is like giving some dog snack to their victims.

  4. Remember all the zeta fans that used to say zetas are gonna own Mexico and that "they have the most respect"? I'm not sure whose respect they garnered other than losers and other psychopaths like BLO and Oscar Garcia Montoya. History is perfectly clear in that the only guys to stay in business long term in Mexico are groups that stick to the job of satisfying American demand for the commodities they deliver. No matter how much you pay in bribes, eventually the people and the gob will end those that terrorize the people.

For almost 20 years I spend days in these cities; 10 days per month in Satlillo and Monterrey and in Torreon and Nuevo Laredo again I spend 2- 4 days per month in each city. Nuevo Laredo and Torreon were areas of fear and distrust but even Nuevo Laredo today is more tranquil with good economics, inversion, new big stores and restaurants (including a Starbucks), and young people again enjoying the night. Yes I know too well how bad things were and how much things have improved since zetas have weakened and changed how they operate.

Nice job in unleashing the zetas on the mexican people,
Dog owners get prosecuted for not keeping their animals chained, what should we do with the mexican and the american owners of los zetas and their partners "las niñas treviñas"?
By the way, some say israelis and kaibiles participated in training the zetas as fully operating criminals.
Dissolving 300 to 500 people in acid baths would take a lot of 50 gallon drums, and burning them would take a lot of wood, there must be some big mass grave somewhere, also grinding bodies with asphalt roers does wonders to desiccate carcasses and make them into fuel, get the cattle probe up his ass to make him confess, bet he sings about hundreds more crimes.

  10. Once the demons consume his mind in his cell he will die slowly from paranoia and confusion of reality until one day the devil tricks him into suicide and off he will fall down deep into the eternal hell that awaits him and his soul to be tormented for eternity. If he is too weak to kill himself, one of satans demons in prison will carry out his masters wishes of releasing his energy back to the devil. We all have one chance at physical being in this current reality & test that we call life, some people really fuck it up over things they cant even take with them when they leave...........Life is a manifestation of energy and a seal of who spiritualy you really are or can be in a physical playground. I dont think some people ever have a chance to see the bigger picture before they make the choices they do.

Which in turn notified Z-40 that he was compromised. Thus perpetuating the violence upon the innocent people of Coahuila. I wonder if the DEA feels any responsibility for the death those 300. I wonder if the ghosts of the 300 visit the dreams of the agent who leaked the information.

    2. Blame Cuellar for being a thief. His actions of fleeing with money which didn't belong to him and then turn informant caused the reaction of the Zetas. It's so much easier to blame the DEA and not the Mexican agents. It's always safer to blame the outsiders and not your Sangré. If I lived the life of Z40 and Z42 I would have reacted in a similar way. The Zetas warned him and he was asked to return the money or people he knew would die. He in turn chose to run to the US Feds. The violence was solely perpetrated by one person and it wasn't a US citizen.

    3. The DEA KNEW los zetas were connected to the mexican intelligence services, but still shared intelligence "to keep up appearances".
It is a phenomena still practiced by the US government, we were told next day and for the next 6 months "but the russians' meddling on our 'all american exceptional election', did not have any effect on the outcome..."
But when asked by senators and congressmen and reporters "then how come they won?" It is all, "mmmhm, wuuh, aaah, no remember, or I can't talk about that on open session, mmmh".

If the demand for such was non- existing then such activities would not exist.
The problems facing both Mexico and US is the lack of opportunities. Mexico the lack of employment and wages .In The US the discrimination practices towards those with a record. A small percentage of those with a criminal background become successful in life . While the majority are stuck in limbo trying to put food on table. Let's be realistic here minimum wages don't go far.
So the choice is almost guaranteed that family comes first. And how you go about paying bills and putting food and roof on ones head may not be right.
But until society can change its mentality and stop oppression maybe good change can arise.

Narco activity is instant but short term way of making a living and you put your family at risk by the sounds of it
