"Furia Negra" in Tamaulipas: Rebel Cops Video Tape the Narcos they Chase

Yaqui for Borderland Beat from: Publimetro / LSR

"Furia Negra", ie 'Black Fury': Rebel police officers who make videos against the narcos:

Characterized by their lethality, these uniformed Tamaulipas cops make videos to counter drug trafficking messages.

Tactical equipment, military clothing, strong weapons and heavy vehicles are recorded with background rap music that exalts them and threatens their rivals, but no, it is not drug cartels, but law enforcement.
They are elements of the Tamaulipas State Police, also known as Tamaulipas Force, who seek to counteract the messages that drug trafficking circulating in social networks.

These messages, in the case of Tamaulipas, regularly come from members of the Cartel del Noreste  and its armed wing who are called 'La Tropa del Infierno', ie the Troop from Hell. Sol has done many posts on them.

From halcones to hitmen who upload videos and photos on social media networks, they are members that have split off the group of ''Los Zetas''.

At least there have been two recordings of the Tamaulipas uniformed men, whom they already call the "El Furia Negra", ie the 'Black Fury'.

In the first, a heavily armed uniformed policeman boasts his artillery and tactical equipment, while background music plays that exalts the activities of police, military and marine against organized crime.

The other is a police convoy advancing on a highway, while one of the uniformed men behind a high-powered weapon records his trip.

This 'Black Fury' has been characterized by its lethality during the fight against organized crime, to such an extent that they have also been called 'Widow Makers'.
"La Tropa del Infierno": This is how they roll

Even human rights organizations have disagreed about it For example, on September 5, the "La Furia Negra" murdered  eight suspected members of the Cartel del Noreste  in Buenavista, Nuevo Laredo.

The relatives of the victims said they were extrajudicially executed and the State Human Rights Commission began an investigation in this regard.

The clashes between the "Furia Negra" and "La Tropa del Infierno" and ("Black Fury" and the " Troop of Hell ")  has been a constant, mainly in Nuevo Laredo.
"La Furia Negro" : This is how they roll

One of the most controversial cases was a confrontation happened last August, when the " Black Fury " struck down seven members of the Cartel del Noreste, ie the Northeast cartel .

Among the dead was a 16-year-old boy nicknamed "Juanito Pistolas," a hitman who received so much firepower that he was beheaded by it.

Long is the list of deaths that this "war" between the " La Furia Negra" and the Cartel del Noreste has left north of Tamaulipas.

  1. Let them kill each other off, record it, and give the media on opportunity for market share as it airs prime time. Bread and circuses for the modern world.

  2. This is actually a good idea all Mexican forces from each state should promote videos like this fighting or looking for the bad guys with corridos so the youngsters can look up to be the good guys Instead of the low life sicario videos they are expose to see. Hopefully there’s more song writers that could make rap or corridors glorifying the real men fighting for there country.
Videos like this should go viral and promoted to the young kids that like this type of adrenaline. Maybe the change is there.

    2. Well said, give them the fluff for now, till reality sets in. The US squashed it in the 40 's . They are only people barely hanging on with the bribe money
It would be over night if they didn't have the Back up.

    4. Is it a good idea? Ask yourself who are these victims? A certain cartel? Rather, a rival organization for political/monetary reasons?
Don't be FOOLED by these tactics most do. There is a reason for why many do what they do.
      Just stipulating.

    5. Nice idea, Would be cool to see every youngsters dream to be trained Alpha Mexican Marine males instead of low life meth addicted CD/N/G/S/J sicarios that have zero training and only corridos/rap written about them

    4. Fuerza Tamaulipas, alias furia negra, are the private state police that keep the governor "safe" they are worse than CDN, at least CDN does not have an history of casually and intentionally murdering suspects who hecome collateral damages or straight out Falsos Positivos...

    5. Raise the minimum wage in Mexico, pay your law enforcement a wage that equals the work they do and you would see way less law enforcement turning bad or anyone else for that matter. Mexico has the resources to take care of it's people. The upper crust doesn't want to share.

  6. We use to cross over from Brownsville Texas south to Reynosa Tamaulipas.l3 hour drive to Michigan from there ciudad hidalgo to be exact... Last time we cross through there was during Dia de Las Madres in May. Valentine Elizalde was just killed in the beginning of the year...one could feel the tension in the air passing through city getting our permits for our vehicles. Have not cross through Reynosa... when will make that journey south through them beautiful mountains regions only God knows...

    1. 1:14 private security sicarios are one wrong solution, they just serv3, enable, and protect the narco-governor cabeza de cagadas de vacas, the US citizen who is actually the biggest criminal in the whole state of tamaulipas, protected by the US...

  8. Extra judicial killings... I don’t think it’s great but if these rogue cops are the ones who mean business about their job, then it might level the playing field as long as it’s cops on tropa or whatever gang and not on innocents.
    @12:50, you have a point.

Cagada is not a seed that becomes a tree you can then name anywhere in the world.
Tamaulipas state police have a criminal record, long teeth, and longer nails, they are a criminal private police.

  10. Problem is they’re very likely working for the opposition while flying the banner of law and order. This would be the rule rather than exception. I hope they are the exception but have my doubts fo sho

  11. These assholes are very corrupt. They’re just doing the dirty work for other cartels. They kidnap innocents and plant drugs on them and even go as far as disappearing them.

  16. Cartels are cop killers! It should be no surprise when cops start to use the same tactics as the enemy. Right or wrong, I can only imagine the hatred they feel when they see their partners and friends get killed in such a brutal fashion. As long as innocent people aren't killed, I'm ok with whatever methods they use to get the job done.
