CHILPANCINGO, Gro. (proceso.com.mx) - An armed group executed four young people this morning in the cantinas area of the city of Iguala, located in the tumultuous north area of the state.

Official reports indicate that the multiple crime originated after a brawl inside a bar called La Chismosa, where two young people were murdered. The shooting spread to Ignacio Aldama Street, where two other men were shot.

The violent incident was recorded around 4am on Sunday and caused panic and terror among people having fun in this nightlife area of cantinas condoned by the municipal authorities.

Reports indicate that the aggressor group was made up of at least seven armed youths who fled on mopeds.

The victims were identified as Víctor Manuel Leyva, 20 years old, with domicile in the Familiar neighborhood who worked as a mason, as well as Eduardo Mendoza, 19, residing in the 24 de Febrero neighborhood. The other two young people are unknown.

After the massacre and disappearance of the 43 normalistas of Ayotzinapa in September 2014 in this same city, the federal and state authorities announced a special operation to try to reverse the effects of narcoviolence. However, to date crime in this area of the state continues to operate with impunity.

    1. Would you rather visit a school, shopping center, or theater in the US?

    2. When the chances of getting killed are 10,000 X more in Mexico, yes. No problems with murder epidemics in many of the American cities I am in.

    3. At least the whole federal force shows up to challenge the aggressor in the US. In Mex, nothing is done, just go into a bar, kill and do it again the next night..

    4. @7:56PM Certainly Mexico has a much higher murder tate than the US, but I doubt that it is 10,000 times more.

There are probably very few murders of young people in bars in the US but the US has it's own unique problems with murders of children and young people. I would bet you a Tecate Lite that there have been more young people killed in school shootings in the last 2 decades than young people killed in bars in Mexico. The US is the only country in the world where school shootings are common place.

    6. @8:42 That is a stupid statement. Even the NRA would not make that claim.

    7. How is that a stupid statement. You’re over here saying guns kill kids, but cell phones and fatty foods kill more kids then Guns. Baby sugar and cell phones, cause you know we gotta protect the kids. Oh wait you use those things, we can’t ban them. Lol Hypocrite

    8. The NRA doesn’t get paid for cellphones. They would support a ban on cellphones until you’re 21. Cause we gotta think about the children you know. They’re dying

    9. I think 8:42 is talking about children and adults alike getting brain tumors from being bombarded by massive concentrations of RF signals Witch children ARE more susceptive. There's even a warning in the phones health and safety section in the menu of the one in Your pocket right now.
But how it has to do with the comment by dd I have no idea.

  2. Well, if crime in the area didn't abduct the 43 ayotzinapos or suppress evidence like C4 communications, radio, video and fotos, I guess they should try and fix crime locally and have gun toting security guards and checkpoints on the Red Light Districts and all over the city of Iguala, birthplace of the Mexican Flag,
Chinese Red Guard Volunteers have been doing it since MAO TSE TUNG came down from his he/she high horse

  3. Mexico had over, 25,000 homicides in 2017, and that does not include the missing and disappeared. Mexico has been breaking records, if I travel to Tijuana , I may not may it back alive.

    1. "mexico" is about 32 states, you can charge the disappearances and the murdering and the extortions to their governors that allow crime by cartels and the federal and state employed criminals that do their dirty deeds to terrorize as a means to and end, "domination by submission" used by the presidente to rob and steal and get the country in debt to have something more to steal...
Mexico is lucky to have so little credit...
--The US on the other side owes more than 20 trillion dollars "officialy"...
      --and 10 trillion unofficially...
--and the billions jared is extorting around the world in the name of the presidency for profit that must be repaid "somehow" by the American citizens long after the impeachments and shit...
