Heavy armed confrontations continue to occur in Potrerillo Del Norote, Elota, and La Cruz surrounding areas between La Mayiza vs La Chapiza criminal groups. The clashes in these specific areas are at a stalemate, as both groups have continued to clash since September 2024. The following clash occured Thursday night or Friday at dawn.
