Opposed in a bloody conflict not so long ago, the Sicilian clan of the Montreal Mafia and a group of Montreal Hells Angels led by Martin Robert have reportedly decided to make peace in recent months, in the face of the rise of emerging groups that threaten their hegemony.
"Currently, we see that there is indeed a potential truce between certain criminal groups, including the Hells Angels and the Italian mafia," says Francis Renaud, commander of the Organized Crime Division (Antigang) of the Montreal Police Service (SPVM).
In 2023, Montreal Hells Angels and the Rizzuto clan clashed over control of illegal sports betting, better known as "The Book," according to a police theory.

Leonardo Rizzuto was shot at while riding in his SUV in March 2023.
The conflict culminated in the attempted murder of Leonardo Rizzuto, the youngest son of the late Mafia boss Vito Rizzuto, in March 2023, and the murder of a former lieutenant of the clan, Francesco Del Balso, three months later.
But since last year, groups described by the police as "emerging" have begun to step into the toes of large criminal organizations, and to compete with them in some of their traditional activities such as extortion and the importation and distribution of cocaine.
At the same time, the Hells Angels have been facing a rebellion in the eastern part of the province for over a year.

"The Union"
During the holidays, the host of a podcast about crime in Detroit, USA, announced, citing sources, that a peace agreement was reached between Martin Robert and Leonardo Rizzuto in a Montreal restaurant around mid-December.In the days and weeks that followed, La Presse tried, in vain, to confirm the information from sources in the police, judicial, and criminal circles until it learned that in January, the man whom the police consider to be the protector of the Sicilian clan, Pietro D'Adamo, had dinner with Martin Robert in a Montreal restaurant. The two men were reportedly each accompanied by an individual who appeared to be providing protection.
Without confirming this information, Commander Renaud is nevertheless able to affirm that the police are indeed observing a détente between the Rizzuto clan and Martin Robert's group.
"We have seen a truce between the two criminal organizations and we have observed facts on the ground that demonstrate this. We believe that currently, there is a certain unity between criminal organizations, including bikers and certain mafia groups, who have decided to form an alliance, or even just to conclude a non-aggression pact," continues Commander Renaud.

Pietro D’Adamo, 54, of Île-Perrot, was arrested in March along with three other men after a Montreal police SWAT team pulled over the vehicle they were riding in. All four were charged with being in possession of a Glock 43, a prohibited firearm, and with possessing a loaded firearm they were not licensed to carry.
Longtime Alliance
Since the natural death of Vito Rizzuto in December 2013, the mafia, bikers and gangs have formed an alliance to rule Montreal's organized crime.
This one was decapitated in Operation Magot-Mastiff in November 2015, but it continued until a conflict between the Sicilians and Martin Robert's group in 2023, and gang leader Gregory Woolley, who exercised some control over the streets in Montreal, was assassinated in November of the same year.

Commander Renaud claims that for several months now, there has been a lull within high-level criminal organizations, because they are aware that the threat comes from below.
"We have emerging groups who want to take their place and who aren't scared off by the terms bikers and mafia. The mafia and bikers have long seen rebellious people who want to take their place," he says.
These emerging groups are fearless. They'll resort to violence, so it could become a problem for the Mafia or the bikers.
"Currently, on the Montreal organized crime scene, it's not about divide and conquer, quite the opposite. Instead, we're going to unite and conquer. Organizations have no choice. Things are changing right now, and some criminal organizations have to form alliances with others to survive, something we've never seen in the past," says Francis Renaud.
La Presse has also noted that misdeeds or acts of violence have targeted at least three merchants or entrepreneurs in the borough of Saint-Léonard or the Little Italy district in recent weeks.
A pastry shop on Dante Street was the target of gunfire during the long Easter break, and we've been told that shopkeepers are being asked to pay thousands of dollars a month in exchange for supposed protection.
According to Commander Renaud, there isn't necessarily a common thread running through all these events. He refuses, for the time being at least, to talk about the start of a new wave of extortion, but adds that SPVM officers remain on the lookout.
"Property owners who are being extorted and asked for money should call the police and let us know before handing over a single cent. We have inside information that points to people who could be incarcerated right now. We have targets in our sights and we will be monitoring this closely," concludes Commander Renaud.

More like an armistice. At least this ceasing of hostilities will save some lives, if it lasts. Too much money at stake though, it won't last imo.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you expect from a bunch of social rejects in leather jackets playing dress up and an other bunch of wife beaters and extortionists.
DeleteDude, it's pleather.
DeleteMartu Robert, in his bowtie and ill-fitting suit, looks more like a headwaiter than a biker chieftain!
ReplyDeleteIn real life hes extremely intimidating. Is he intimidating like a IAG no. But I have seen him in a bar in Montreal and I didnt want any of that smoke.
DeleteIt’s basically impossible to be at the head of an 81 chapter without being a very intimidating man. There’s nothing beneath you except the grave and other men like you.
DeleteHa! Can I have some more bread; bitch!?
DeleteCanada very weak on major criminals. Maybe, the 25% tariffs will wake them up!
ReplyDeleteSnitcher Truther snitched.
DeleteI'd bet money you originally wrote "Canada very weak on criminals...." then realised you'd better add "major" to distinguish between the men you're talking about and your Sheriff.
Deletefor 30 years ,canada has had 100 % tarriffs or more on all American imports.
DeleteRead this and take notes all of you stupid Mexico cartels. Violence is bad for business. There's enough money from drugs for everybody. This is how civil and smart gangs operate not like the animals in Mexico. Even after they shot at the bosses youngest son they still made a peace pact. Ya let bygones be bygones. They even allow moolinyans in their biker gang. I need to go eat some gabagool now. Nuff Said!!!
ReplyDelete1:48 You soo naive kid lol 😆🤣
Delete@ Nuff Said. Oh man...
DeleteViolence is not "bad for business" in Mexico, it's essential. You think CJNG took over the political power and terrified local media in the states they gained a foothold in through twinkly eyed charm?
There isn't "enough for everybody" for so many reasons, but the simplest to explain is that the authorities that protect them can only really protect one. These gangs you're talking about aren't "Civil" just because they don't upload the videos of them beating rivals to death with pipes. Go back to watching Goodfellas, and good luck finding "gabagool".
Read this and take notes you guys just signed a peace treaty why would you have to sign a peace treaty? Dumb Canadians lol. 51 STATE
DeleteAll these weasels are petrified of American police and have orders to not get involved with crime that may lead to american indictments.
ReplyDeleteHas to suck to be Gregory Woolley. Put your entire life into building up a white motorcycle club, survive an entire gang war front lining for them and being the boss's personal bodyguard, ruin your own community in Montreal and kill a couple men from it to get them all to work for said white motorcycle club, just for them to open a bottle of wine and let bygones be bygones with the guys who killed you right after your kid was born.
ReplyDeleteCon dinero baila el perro. Putas racistas a la verga
DeleteThat’s the cost of business in that profession.
DeleteAny news on the Wolf Pack?
Delete1041 wolf packs leaders is either in Mexico or Middle east and then they other leaders are in jail in Canada and Philippiness.
Delete2:47 Ronaldo Lising of the Vancouver HA is Filipino. Suwinder Grewal of Hardside Surrey BC was Punjabi Indian.
Delete@12:57 I'm aware. There's that dude who's Iranian or Lebanese too. It's still just rough. And in the incredibly small chance it wasn't a benefactor of this truce that killed him, which I doubt because of the lack of violent reaction to his death given his rank, he still died in a parking lot after giving the best years of his life to a white motorcycle club and left behind an infant child. Still rough.
DeleteGregory Wooley's been dead for over a year.
Delete2:47 it's being alleged arab power and/or ahna otna's gang killed him because wooley was liason between street gangs and ha/rizzuto's. They were/are allegedly beefing over extortion, gambling and drug dealing profits. It was alleged that wooley was meeting with the gangs in the period shortly before his murder and allegedly said that they weren't listening and didn't think he would be able to make any headway with them.
DeleteHells angels. Fucking racist gang bangers on bikes. Nothing more.
ReplyDelete4:29pm How can they be a racist gang if they have black members in their gang? Look at the picture. You have four brothers chilling in the pic. They do look like they have been mistreated a little. They have the faces of guys who clean the gangs bosses cars. They probably only get kfc while the others get expensive food. Nuff Said!!!
DeleteFacts.
Delete429 81 has had indo canadians hispanics and middle eastern members in Canada.
DeleteThere are no blacks on hells angels. The haitian canadian man in the picture above was not a hells angel he was associated. The head of the canadian hells angels whos name i wont even try to spell but was nicknamed mom or mum had to make another brother club of enforcers for his friend greg woolley or however you spell his name. Once a the old head of hells angels died in prison and a new one takes over he killed the haitian.
Delete@7:26 unless i'm wrong he was absolutely considered a member by Mom's people, he just also ran the black street gangs in Montreal and fell back on that when his boss got arrested. the guy you're thinking of - Maurice Boucher - was the closest thing Canada ever had to a full blown narco monster like Mexico deals with and was a flat out psychopath, but he's also the reason why they dropped the Peckerwood/Sonny Barger shit a long time ago. He started off in a White Supremacist MC before patching to Hells Angels, then ended up with a black bodyguard and solidified the still intact ties between black Canadian street gangs and the Hells Angels, and it's not because he had a change of heart, he was just an actual psychopath who was fine going in either direction if it got him money and power. did the right thing for the wrong reasons.
Delete@7:18 isn't lying but the phenomenon is far more common in B.C. where the guys from Ontario and Quebec can't micromanage things and don't try to.
@6.30. You know full well those men aren't Hells Angels. Stop trolling.
DeleteAre they terrorists too?
ReplyDeleteI don't know do they butcher eachother on camera or kidnap thousands of innocent people like a bunch of fucking animals?
Delete@11.24.
DeleteYou should have stopped at "I don't know". You think that people who murder on camera and kidnap thousands of innocents are Terrorists? They are mass murderers and kidnappers.
what is illegal sports betting, when sports betting is legal?
ReplyDeleteNo taxes and usually better odds than legalized gambling.
DeleteThose scumbag biker gangs are among the worst things on american culture. Send those racist wannabe thugs to CECOT valiendo un kilo de verga.
ReplyDeletelot of ppl calling them names but noone giving examples of what makes em so awful. oh no they don't like black ppl ? that all you got?
Delete11:34 Shut up
DeleteI found this to be a very entertaining read nice to switch it up every once in a while and cover criminal underworlds in other parts of the world
ReplyDeleteWalter is that you or chucky baby !
ReplyDeleteThey're parasites living off the stupidity of drug users. Vermin.
ReplyDeleteyeah baby..the old papa italianos and hell they have a lot of cash.life is beautiful
DeleteI agree about the kids trying to take over and some of the top ha's and rizzuto's are likely jammed up and maybe under constant surveillance because of frédérick silva turning state's witness. Maybe the street gangs smell blood and weakness and therefore going after them. Someone on another blog alleged arab power members were attacking and shanking ha's members in jails and prisons.
DeleteLike any group their strengths are in numbers. They don't fight fair. Nothing but a bunch of dirty white boys riding around on their tricycles acting tough.
ReplyDeleteWhy doesnt the orange jesus declare outlaw bikers as terrorists also? They push pills and other drugs. They even ride with their logos in plain sight
ReplyDeleteDuh he put to get the bad hombres not the naughty boyz
DeleteNo, no period kid.
DeleteThis article doesn’t mention anything about the topic of race at all and somehow half the comments section are people spewing anti-white racist bile. These guys are criminals, bad guys, but what the hell does their skin color have to do with it, anymore than cartel guys or street gang members or any other criminal group. If you are one of these people who thinks that a person’s skin color makes them a “racist”, then guess what, you are the racist
ReplyDeleteMaybe look up some history of how racist their members actions have been over the least 40 years and you'll understand why everyone's writing that
Delete@5:00 Cisco Valderrama longtime President of the Hells Angels Oakland, CA Chapter, he was Filipino. Cisco had been a member of the Hells Angels since the 60’s and the most powerful Hells Angel in California and maybe in the whole country from the late 1980’s through the 2000’s. Dave Ortega who was of Mexican American background was a prominent Hells Angels member since the early-mid 1970’s, he was Vice President of the Ventura, California HA’s Chapter and one of the top Hells Angels leaders in So Cal during the 80’s-90’s. I could go on. Prejudice, bigotry exists in many places, many people, bikers no exception. But they really aren’t white supremacists or anything like that
Delete@8.20. You've listed the obvious mixed race leaders from decades ago, which means nothing, so don't pretend it shows a lack of racism in the Hells Angels. You say you could go on, so go on. Present day.
DeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
Delete@932 stop whining your not a victim
Delete@6.33. Fuck no, I'm not a victim lol. I was calling out the victim mentality. Some clown was pretending Hells Angels don't have a history of racist violence after googling mixed race bikers from decades ago, protecting their own status as white men unfairly stigmatised. Why the fuck would any sane person deny that history unless they were told they are being victimised? It's pathetic.
Delete@9:32. yeah because the Hells Angels and other 1%er bikers are more “racist” today than they were in the 40, 50, 60 years ago right (sarcasm)? That’s just laughable. Do you people even hear yourself when you say this stuff ? There are many nonwhite Hells Angels members, especially in Cali. Cisco Valderrama (HA No Cal legend) who was mentioned by a previous commenter, he passed away in 2014. That’s not exactly ancient history is it? Johnny Palomar isnt white, another HA legend. He may be the longest tenured Hells Angel in the whole United States at this point. There are many many Mexican-American and Hispanic Hells Angels members and leaders, and there have been going back decades and decades. There are probably more Hispanic HA’s today than ever before. I know of what I speak
DeleteStevie Ruiz was a Mexican hells angel out of San Jose, Ca. I think he shot another hells ange member during a fight or something about a decade ago. Story got quite a bit of media attention I remember
DeleteFor the most part, the HA was never a racist club and they have charters on every continent now. Early on they did have black/asian/hispanic members and female members. That did change as they went into the California prisons which were being racially divided by gangs in the 60s so it became more of a white club otherwise they couldn’t back each other up when in prison.
DeleteMongols are heavily a Hispanic club because of where they got started but mostly in the last 20-30 years when more chicanos and gang members were being recruited. But they have several white presidents over the years too.
The East Bay Dragons are a long time primarily black club in Oakland that are very close to HA for a long time.
The most interesting part is Canada, Mom Boucher was originally a member of the SS motorcycle club, which did claim to be a white supremicist club. Woolley was his bff and basically second in command so clearly they cared more about money and power than being racist. Woolley was never made an HA member but founded that support club and was considered by all to be on the same level as any of their leaders.
@932 Dave Ortega was not mixed race, where did you get that? His parents were both Mexican. He was one of the best respected HAs on the west coast for 30 years. Ive studied HAs and other outlaw bikers for many years. Stop talking about stuff you obviously know nothing about. @3:53 you are right about Steven Ruiz, he is Mexican American. @9:49 Johnny Palomar still going strong. @10:11 That’s a great summary, you are exactly right about the role of the California State Prison System and the serious racial politics there
Deletethe war will be back on the just killed hells angel member truck in ontario today ….
ReplyDeletethe war will likely be back in after hells angel boss “truck was gunned down today in ontario …
ReplyDeleteI read that happened, not sure if it's connected yet or it was by one of the gangs instead. While HA Quebec has a huge sway over Ontario and vice versa, the Sicilian clan of the Rizzuto's don't as much there.
Delete1239 the Ndrangheta have alot of Juice in Ontario as well.
