"Char" and "Enojon" for Borderland Beat

Breaking news emerged out of Culiacan, Sinaloa, on Monday, January 6, 2025, of the possible death of the famous high-ranking La Chapiza Cartel member El Gavilan or Juancho. El Gavilan has long controlled the Desarollo Urbano Tres Rios Sector in Culiacan, Sinaloa, and is said to be under the direct orders of El Cabo or El 200 and El 300.
The incident where El Gavilan or Juancho allegedly suffered from gunshot wounds happened in the low-income apartments of Fovissste Diamante. A video of about 40 seconds shows a group of armed gunmen with long rifles rescuing someone who was lying on the floor allegedly is El Gavilan. Furthermore, it is unknown how this ambush occurred at this moment, or if it was mistaken friendly gunfire.

The body, hair and skin color all match Comandante Gavilan. I guess we won't know for sure because hitmen took the body with them. Forensics won't be able to identify without a body. We can know if there's banners confirming this. I do know for sure that whoever it is was definitely a high ranking member. If it was a normal regular solider they would've left the body. They risked their own lives to retrieve the body. The stupid person who took the video needs to leave town fast. It is easy to identify the apartment window.
