Narco Tunnel Linked To Los Rusos Discovered

"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat

Video translation is as follows:

A drug tunnel dug by hand, measuring the right size in length, to cross drugs and undocumented immigrants under the border wall of Sonora and Arizona to the United States was discovered by agents of the Attorney General's Office in the border region of San Luis Río Colorado.

According to the authorities, the drug tunnel was located on May 1 when agents of the state public security police in coordination with the United States border patrol were conducting a tour of the San Luis Rio Colorado border wall.

The middle passageway is less than 5 meters in length. The approximate distance to cross under the steel border wall built in the Sonoran Desert. An area that is currently being disputed by factions of the Sinaloa Cartel for the transfer of drugs, weapons, money, and undocumented immigrants. The authorities didn’t report any arrests or drug seizures after the discovery of this clandestine passage.

Next to the discovery site, the officers found various tools used for excavation. Among these were shovels, bars, and buckets, which were covered with stacks of wood and weeds typical of the region. After the experts processed the scene to collect evidence for the court case. The agents carried out maneuvers to disable the excavation by covering it with earth using an excavator.

Reports from Mexican authorities record that since 1990, when the first drug tunnel was officially discovered, to date security and migration agencies have found more than 230 clandestine passages. The vast majority in the state of Sonora in the Nogales region that borders the United States.

The border between Sonora and Arizona is currently disputed between groups linked to Los Chapitos versus the Los Rusos criminal group commanded by Mayo Zambada. Local media indicated that the drug tunnel is linked to the Los Rusos criminal cell.

  1. Ruso used this tunnel to get his Taco Bell. Because of unpaid tickets, he can no longer cross the border to get his Crunchwrap supreme and a large Nacho Fries, so he relied on this tunnel to have Uber Eats bring this food not available in Mexicali. Ruso is really thirsty and wants his fountain drink!

  3. There are hundreds of these tunnels across the boarder that have not been discovered. This proves just how stupid it is to spend billions of dollars on a boarder wall. Makes no sense. These tunnels are really easy to dig. They are so easy that this one got build by hand. Instead of wasting money on boarder walls the U.S needs to do what Isreal is doing. They are using high tech technology across gaza to locate hamas tunnels. They are going through every inch of territory to find them all. Wake up America. Nuff Said!!!

  5. Off topic. Dispensa homies.
Got a potential doozy of a fight between Canelo vs Munguía tonight. My 12pack of the brown bottle Corona, IPAs would be inappropriate, is parked chilling in my beer fridge. Got several pounds of jumbo shrimp for the coctel and ceviche.
A good Saturday here in the SJV even if it's going to rain a bit. Picking Saul to use "power boxing" to pick his spots and walk down Munguía.
For the fisticuffs aficionado, on Monday from the land of the rising sun🇯🇵, my P4P #1 fighter Naoya "The Monster" Inoue (won titles at 108 and 115 and linear championships at 118 and 122) will be defending his undisputed super bantamweight (122lbs) championship against another son of Tijuana.
Luis "Pantera" Nery, who's a former 118lbs champion and 122lbs titlelist, will try to use his southpaw stance to bombard "The Monster" with his power. Tijuana through two of her sons with try to shake up the boxing world and bring some glory and positivity to her at times bloody streets. Viva México cabrones! 🍻

  6. I'm writing about the surfers in Ensenada. If you want the story told quickly, there are dozens of English articles on it.

But if you want the story told right, then y'all will just have to wait until I publish it tomorrow and discuss it then.

    3. I sent BB a link on that story last nite. There was a LOT I read on a couple different FB group pages, which you've probably already found. 2 things I haven't been able to confirm or find additional info on are (1)that the surfers sealed their fate when purchasing meth, and (2)that there was a 4th body found with the other 3. Both could just be rumors tho. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I will patiently await for when your story is posted. I love the details, and the accuracy, in your stories Hearst as I know you put a lot of time in to researching. Keep up the awesome work!

    5. You would think Ensenada is safe for the tourists minding their own business.
HEARST yes can't wait for your updated article there's a lot of speculation in here. I won't spoil the high lights it was not drug related. The fourth person who owned the property did not deserve to die.
