Culiacán, Sin.- Minutes before 6:00 a.m. narco-banners appeared all over Culiacán in which they allude that "There is no war in Sinaloa" and are signed with the initials 'IAG'.

The banners have been placed in different parts of the city; one on the Negro bridge, on the railroad tracks, others on the bridges of Alvaro Obregón avenue, in the vicinity of the old seminary and one more on the La Platanera bridge.

BANNERS READ (TRANSLATED BY: SOL PRENDIDO)

Attention There is no war in Sinaloa. This is going to happen to all the thieves in Sinaloa so that they can feel what families feel when their homes are robbed and their privacy is invaded. We do not allow robbery, kidnapping, extortion, or fee collections here. You already know what the principles of the organization are, let it be clear. Relatives of people who are involved in these crimes should avoid having a bad time and report any act of this nature.

SINCERELY, IAG

On another banner that was also hung along with the message, photographs were placed of four men who were identified as "leaders of the group in charge of home robbery in Sinaloa".

-Alberto 'N' as a presumed Active Ministerial Police in Sinaloa.
-Christian 'N' as an alleged member of the Attorney General's Office.
-Eduardo 'N' alias "El Walo".
-Oscar 'N'.

These events took place after three high-impact events in Sinaloa in the past few days; first, a total of 66 people were deprived of their freedom in different towns and neighborhoods of Culiacán, where eight people, including two women, have yet to be released.

In addition, last Thursday, March 21, there was a confrontation in San José del Llano, Badiraguato, where three men were killed and two of them were decapitated.

And last Sunday, members of the National Guard were attacked by armed civilians, where one agent was killed and another was injured.

So far, no public security authority has made any statement regarding the appearance of these banners, or if any of the previous events are related to the same.

Like always government messing shit up for cds in culiacan cutting of the main head a few years ago, now you have all these events with some infighting , and even corrupt authorities taking advantage of the situation and starting a crime circle of thiefs. Thats what certain elites want in Mexico to not have peace and prosperity in Mexican cities

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. But you know that in principle the agents generally agree with what the cartel bosses will be saying about keeping civilians out of it. Culiacan is one of the better cities in Mexico anyway, despite some no-go zones and unstated rules with consequences more than the law.

    1. Really want to write about this. I have been searching for info on the 4 guys regularly but there's barely anything on any of them. This whole thing is very frustrating because hundreds and hundreds of people in Sinaloa know why 66 people were kidnapped. But all of them refuse to say why it happened, even anonymously. So many people know information on this case and could share it to news outlets, blogs, without it being obvious who gave up info.

      Delete
    2. HEARST welcome back from Cancun we missed you.

  24. The theory that the kidnappings where related to home invasion robberies was 1 of the first things that where being said when these kidnappings occurred last week…. Rumor was that one of Ivan’s places had been robbed.

Seems like it wasn’t BS. Goes to show not even the big boy narcos are safe. Chapo’s dumb af tho, why wouldn’t they just kill the guys responsible, instead of gathering way too much attention by kidnapping entire families?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Because taking family members is safer. If they went at them directly they might get hurt and they don't want to risk that. So them being as brave as they are they went after the more vulnerable ones. The committed the same cowardly acts in el culiacanazo. They knew they couldn't handle the military so they went and did some shit that shows their cowardice and isn't respected by real men. All them individuals the are all proud and glorify el culiacanazo, just remember why it went in their favor that day. They kidnapped soldiers families and threatened to harm the innocent civilian population. Men don't do that nor glorify it. Men look down on such displays of cowardice.
