The arrival of a significant number of Army personnel will not be enough to face the conflict, said Governor Alfaro.

The multiple homicides and others that have occurred between Tlaquepaque and Tlajomulco are the result of a fight for territory between two or more crime groups for the sale of drugs, which is why the reinforcement of federal and state forces, said Governor Enrique Alfaro Ramirez.

"There has been an issue for a few days, a couple of weeks that has been seen at the security table and that precisely from this week has been a matter of a reinforcement in the presence, particularly of the Army in the southern area of Tlaquepaque and in a part of the Valle de Tlajomulco area a dispute between organized crime groups and that has generated some homicides that we are attending to," he mentioned.

He reiterated that the results of last January's crime incidence are positive but "this issue was identified more or less 15 days ago and that is why we are fine-tuning the strategy and presence in this area, which I insist is a space where there is a dispute between two groups or several groups on the issue of drug sales".

He mentioned that a significant number of army personnel arrived, but they will not be sufficient in the face of the conflict in this zone of the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area. Over the weekend there were six homicides in less than two hours.

After the series of homicides, the Tlaquepaque Police Department activated a special operation in the neighborhoods where multiple homicides have been registered to detect people with weapons, stolen cars, or carrying drugs and thus make citizens feel safer and more confident.

    1. They own Jalisco most of it but it’s internal conflict between their gangs . Supplier is the same, sellers are the ones who fight for it. I guess

People don't deny other cartel presence in Jalisco.

      That's clearly why they're fighting.

Your brain must be small and uneducated.. You should sign up and help them take over Jalisco 😂 you'd make a perfect pride fueled crash dummy

    4. 2:37 so there is internal beef with cjng in Jalisco? 👀

2:04 seems like you in the same boat buddy or what are you doing in this website? Lol

    5. You guys are all wrong. Nueva Plaza is still around that area. They are getting stronger because CDS is helping them. If you remember their leader "El Cholo" was captured by CJNG and his body was left in the plaza of Tlaquepaque in a bench close to the municipal police station. What is happening now is Nueva Plaza fighting back because they got stronger. That's it.

    6. 3:14 you clearly have been away from BB then buddy . The CJNG groupies take pride in saying how all of Jalisco belongs to them . So out of curiosity which one is it ? Do they control basically all of Jalisco or not ?

It’s a shame - Tlaquepaque was an awesome place to eat, drink and chase señoritas prior to 2010

  5. So let me get this straight according to the comments. The 2 theories that are getting discussed in the comments are that it's an internal CJNG beef or that Nueva Plaza are still around . Add to that Flama is hitting CJNG back . Also that R5 from Michoacan is hitting them in Jalisco. I dont know but seems to me Jalisco going to get interesting this year.

  6. Wandered into Tlaquepaque in the late '60s, it was a mandatory stop on the hip gringo tourist trail..
It was a small town all about beautiful handicrafts, hand painted pottery, textiles, you name it..
Hooked up with some young superstarlet girls from Checkoslovakia, the memories are vague, but all pleasant ones..
Now, a lifetime later, I read this desmadre shit and wonder what happened to my cherished beanerlandia, things are getting worse and worse, will it eventually somehow get better?

  7. The reasoning for this is simple. Tlaquepaque has some of the hottest girls in Mexico. Hell, I'm tempted to start my own cartel and join the fight because the chicks in Tlaquepaque are so freaking hot.
