Sara Bruna Quiñonez Estrada mentioned that they have not yet been able to investigate the cases, however, the modus operandi allows them to formulate a link between the incidents.

The findings of carbonized people in the streets of Culiacan could be related to each other, as they could be victims of the same criminal group, said Sinaloa Attorney General Sara Brunas Quiñonez Estrada.

"It could have a certain relationship, we are investigating those cases. It has not been confirmed, but the modus operandi alone leads us to believe that they were perhaps burned by the same group, the same people," said Quiñonez Estrada.

"As much as having detected, no, because we would have to have already had names and some facts from them, and no, it is not the case", he declared.

He indicated that the victims would have been burnt to ashes after their murders since they all had gunshot wounds.

In the last week, three men were found charred in the streets of Culiacan: two were reported on January 16, one in the Costa Rica syndicate, another in the Adolfo Lopez Mateos neighborhood. The third was found on 19 January in the Rafael Buelna neighborhood.
