Judge Orders the Release of Gulf Cartel Leader 'La Kena'

"Morogris" for Borderland Beat

After this announcement was made, another judge ordered to stop this release, which you can read here.

Jose Alberto Garcia Vilano, alias La Kena or Ciclon 19, was arrested this month and sent to the Federal Social Readaptation Center No. 1 (Altipano), Mexico's maximum-security prison.

A court in Tamaulipas has ordered the release of José Alberto García Vilano, also known as La Kena or Ciclón 19, the leader of the Matamoros faction of the Gulf Cartel, who was recently captured near Monterrey.

The judge Crescencio Contreras Martínez explained that La Kena was due to be released for lack of sufficient evidence presented by Mexico's Attorney General's Office (FGR) and procedural errors in their investigation presented before the court.

As of the latest information available, it remains unclear whether this release order has been executed and if La Kena has been set free.

In response to these events, the FGR has asked the Secretariat for Home Affairs to investigate and impeach Judge Contreras Martinez for his favorable rulings toward cartel members. Nevertheless, a judge association criticized this action, asserting that the judge acted in accordance with the law.

Sinaloa Cartel Operator 'El Cumbias' Sentenced to 160 Years for 2010 Creel Massacre

"Morogris" for Borderland Beat

Surveillance cameras captured Sinaloa Cartel leader Enrique Lopez Acosta, also known as El Cumbias, on the day of the Creel massacre in Chihuahua. This footage served as crucial evidence that contributed to his conviction

Sinaloa Cartel operator Enrique López Acosta, also known by the alias El Cumbias, received a 160-year prison sentence today for his role in the 2010 Creel, Chihuahua massacre.

This verdict marks a significant achievement for Mexican prosecutors, who persevered for many years to secure a conviction against El Cumbias for an incident where cartel members seized control of Creel and killed eight people. Verdicts of this nature are unfortunately infrequent in Mexico, a country where the majority of murders and mass killings often go unpunished.

The Italian, Leader Of A CJNG Cell That Trafficked Weapons From The U.S

"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat

Video translation is as follows:

Angel Hernandez: Today we are going to talk about The Italian. An Italian who was actually a Mexican national. One of those little cells that the Jalisco New Generation Cartel, much like other cartels, used to bring firearms from the United States to Mexico. This is also an example of how US agencies are tracking these cells to the United States and afterwards sending them to trial.

Seven rifles hidden in the trunk of a vehicle were seized in June of 2021 by the National Guard in Fresnillo, Zacatecas. A Hispanic woman driving a vehicle with her teenage son was preparing to deliver the weapons to the Jalisco New Generation Cartel. The leader of the cell that organized these deliveries known as The Italian is currently serving a sentence of 9 years in prison.

Each respective serial number on the guns recovered came into the hands of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. They were tracked and it was discovered that they were bought by Víctor Fierro, Ana Isabel, Barrón and Maira Madrid in New Deming, Mexico. With the time-to-time protocol crime, that is, the period between which gun was purchased and the one that was recovered in Mexico. They established that Mexican cartels purchased everything through intermediaries. A confidential source confirmed everything.

Jesús Barrón aka The Italian resided in Columbus, New Mexico. He collected legally purchased weapons, mostly assault rifles, and then sent them to the four letters cartel in Mexico. In addition to receiving the cost of the weapons, organized crime gave him an extra $100 for each rifle. The ATF tracked down Barrón and his colleagues, finding several more rifle purchases. José Orona, Maira's boyfriend and a friend of Barrón was the one who transported the weapons in his car, a Chrysler PT Cruiser. The Italian, who came to the United States thanks to a work permit, was located, detained, accused, and sentenced to 9 years in prison for arms trafficking.

Pedro: The topic that seems to have no end, arms trafficking from the United States to Mexico.

Angel Hernandez: That's right Pedro, this is an example of how the cartels are operating, small cells, hundreds if not thousands of individuals who use these organizations that fuel the power of these cartels. And which also shows us what type of weapons are coming in. It’s not only pistols as we have seen, there are also rifles. And in many cases precision rifles, high caliber, ballistic weapons. That are just as well causing serious problems here in Mexico at the security level. And that allows these cartels to grow and become stronger.

Pedro: Of course. It’s easy for a person to think that a short weapon can be carried in a vehicle. But now to transport these types of weapons it would seem impossible for no one not to notice.

Angel Hernandez: That's right, we have to see how work is being done on the borders, see how they are working on the dynamics of arms trafficking. We have seen that, for example, the longest rifles are brought across in parts. The important thing here is the collaboration between the agencies of both countries.

ProPublica Alleges Sinaloa Cartel Donated $2 Million to AMLO's 2006 Campaign

"Socalj" for Borderland Beat

From the ProPublica Investigation Article

Years before Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) was elected as Mexico’s leader in 2018, U.S. drug-enforcement agents uncovered what they believed was substantial evidence that major cocaine traffickers had funneled some $2 million to his first presidential campaign.

According to more than a dozen interviews with U.S. and Mexican officials and government documents reviewed by ProPublica, the money was provided to campaign aides in 2006 in return for a promise that a López Obrador administration would facilitate the traffickers’ criminal operations.

Clout And Failed Adventures With The CJNG

"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat

Just yesterday an article released by Borderland Beat told us of a human head that had been left outside of a men’s prison in Mexico City. And from one day to the next we get to see how exactly the victim lost what should never have been removed in the first place.

As strange as it may sound the sequence of events are moving in reverse here. Everything previously mentioned in the narco message is this time spoken aloud by a gunman from the Jalisco New Generation Cartel. The armed criminal cell is made up of numerous members.

But before we move forward. We must keep in mind that it was back in early May of last year that we last saw an oversized butcher’s knife in the paws of a right handed assassin. For this broadcast, another cleaver similar in nature returns for its sophomore appearance on film. In addition, loud music is being used to muffle any agonizing sounds again.

Only this time, while working against gravity, an enforcer uses his tool to bleed out his opponent from the neck. Of great importance here is the fact that the adversary was placed inside a container filled with a bit of water at the bottom. Their overall intention was not to spill a drop of his vital fluids onto the ground.

Soon after though, the authorities were able to capture some of the individuals who participated in this crime.

CJNG Squeezes In CDMX: Mencho's Cartel Gets Stronger In The Last Week

 "Char" for Borderland Beat

This article was translated and reposted from RADIOFÓRMULA.MX

The CJNG operates mainly in one mayoral district in the north of the CDMX, but has sparked fear in other areas.

"MENCHO"

The CJNG keeps its criminal operations alive in the CDMX.

The Jalisco Cartel - New Generation (CJNG) is becoming more and more frequent in Mexico City (CDMX), and in the last week it carried out a kidnapping attempt and abandoned a human head in a cooler.

A report by the US Congressional Research Service states that the criminal organization led by Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, better known as 'El Mencho', has a presence in 28 of the country's 32 states, including Mexico City.

Information from the Ministry of National Defense (Sedena), leaked by the hacker group Guacamaya Leaks, indicates that the CJNG operates mainly in the municipality of Gustavo A. Madero, under the command of Omar Ramses "N", alias "El Calaca".

However, since 2015, the Jalisco-based criminal group has left its "footprint" in other parts of the country's capital, such as in the municipalities of Tlalpan, Álvaro Obregón and, in recent days, Cuajimalpa.

CJNG goes 'wild' in CDMX

During the weekend, members of the CJNG tried to perpetrate a virtual kidnapping in Cuajimalpa, according to Mayor Adrián Rubalcava.

He detailed that the criminals tried to collect a ransom from the relatives of two young people, whom they forced to stay in a room on the 10th floor of a hotel located in the vicinity of Santa Fe, while they demanded to be on a phone call.

However, the parents of the victims managed to contact the authorities, who mounted an operation to rescue the young people. No one was arrested in this case.

No arrests were reported in Gustavo A. Madero, after a human head was abandoned in a cooler in the vicinity of the Reclusorio Norte, located on Tecnológico Avenue.

Along with the cooler, criminals left a narcomessage signed by the CJNG and with a message addressed to extortionists from La Unión Tepito, 'Chucho Masero' and other criminal cells.

However, in December, CJNG members were arrested, including Carlos Barrera Blanca, alias "El Mafafa", accused of homicide and extortion of shopkeepers in Iztapalapa.

Cartel de Sinaloa Orders Death Of Cartel Arellano Felix Operators

"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat

Drugs from the Sinaloa Cartel continue to be stolen and operators of the Arellano Félix Cartel (CAF), a mafia identified as responsible for the thefts, continue to be murdered. They kill them regardless of their position in the criminal organization chart or if they participate in the theft of drugs from their competitors.

Between January 5 and 17, three armed attacks were carried out, the result: two men murdered and the facade of the Epic children's recreation center damaged. A gun used in these attacks was the same one fired in the homicidal attack at the LH Lomas pharmacy, where, according to the State Attorney General's Office (FGE), the victim who survived was Pablo Edwin Huerta Nuño alias El Flaquito, ringleader of a CAF cell.

“All those who are related to the criminal operations of Pablo Edwin Huerta Nuño el Flaquito, Héctor García el Kado or James Brayan Corona el Apache, have a bullseye on their backs,” commented an investigator from the Intelligence area of the Federal Government.

“There are versions – given by some detainees – that Sinaloa’s operatives offered large rewards for the death of these three,” but they didn’t mention amounts.

But neither the threat nor the homicides seem to make an impact on the traffickers-thieves of the CAF, nor on the agents, police, elements of the National Guard and corrupt soldiers who support them in drug thefts.

On January 13, a group of six soldiers were exposed on social networks as participants in a drug theft committed the day before at 7:20 a.m. in a drug laboratory located in a ranch in the Ciénega Redonda section, Colonia Luis Echeverría of the town El Hongo, in the municipality of Tecate.

On the afternoon of Sunday, January 14, gunfire was recorded at the EPIC children's entertainment establishment, located in the Chapultepec subdivision, Tijuana.

By January 17, the soldiers had already been arrested for participating in the illegal search and the alleged theft of 1,050 kilos of crystal meth, an AR-15 long gun, an AK-47 and two short weapons. On the morning of Friday the 19th, ZETA news made it public in its printed edition.

That Friday night, another pick-up with soldiers, also stationed in Tijuana - confirmed by the Secretariat of National Defense - participated in a new drug theft. The Sinaloa Cartel criminals exposed them again, posting the video online on January 21.

This time, the illegal operation in which a white panel truck also participated, accompanied by the military vehicle, was carried out at a home in the Mariano Matamoros subdivision.

"Due to the type of cars, we believe that the soldiers are being easily recruited by agents of the State Prosecutor's Office, because legal searches are already being carried out with them," they said from the Security Table, as well as the anonymous complaint that pointed to elements of the FGE. However, the Sedena did not officially confirm it, despite the fact that the first group of soldiers involved have been arrested for a week, without any information from the Second Military Zone if they have been charged.

THE SAME GUN

The protagonist of the attacks in question is a .9 millimeter caliber pistol, used around 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, when two armed men entered the pharmacy located on Avenida Las Ferias at the intersection with Puertos Sur Oriente Street of the Hipódromo subdivision. They shot another male who minutes before arrived to get a medical shot, he was accompanied by a bodyguard.

In the end, the four men fired and one of those attacked was wounded. He and his partner were wearing t-shirts with the official FEMDO logos and caps with the words Special Forces, at the bottom it read F.E.F and below FLAKITO.

Due to the video surveillance images in which it is observed that the subject shot has identical similarities to those of Flaquito - with chubby cheeks - and because in one of the seized cars with blood stains, they found documents of the son of the alleged drug trafficker. Although they fled the scene, authorities considered the CAF leader as the target of that armed attack.

Later, the same gun was used to kill Esteban Lizárraga Lagarde, 31, at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, when he was driving a Volkswagen Jetta car, with license plates 8H0W587, on Bulevar El Rosario, in front of Plaza La Pajarita, Santa Fe Delegation.

The authorities indicate that the victim was accompanied by Jorge E. García, 22, who suffered injuries to his abdomen and face.

The reporter said he heard “eight gunshots” and that the two individuals responsible fled in a white sedan.

At the scene they found nine 9 mm caliber shell casings, four bullet holes in the windshield, five cell phones in the passenger seat, and on the mat, in the front, right side, another shell casing, another bullet in the left rear part of the car and two reddish brown spots.

They used the weapon again in the shooting against the facade of the Epic party and bounce house, at Avenida Monterrey number 3215, Neidhart neighborhood. The incident was reported to the emergency numbers at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 14.

The wall was struck by 13 bullets, the same number of shell casings were left at the scene, as well as two rounds. The weapons used were one .9 millimeter caliber and another .40. Four children's parties were held that afternoon and in only one of the cases, workers at the venue said they didn’t have the name of the parents or the party.

The FGE reported that the casings had tested positive with “at least 13 events that occurred in the years 2022, 2023 and 2024, including homicides and attempted homicides,” but they didn’t say which ones.

The revolver surfaced again in “the death by firearm projectile,” which occurred at 8:42 a.m. on January 17 on the road to Rancho Kumiai in the Natura subdivision. The slender corpse, dressed in black, was abandoned on the dirt road; He was identified as José Nerlictff, 33 years old. He had three gunshot wounds to the head.

He was also wounded in the neck, arms and back; Eleven 9 millimeter caliber casings were collected near his corpse.

MORE MURDERED LINKED TO CAF

On January 22, at 9:45 p.m., on Avenida Hipódromo corner with Avenida Tapachula, in the parking lot of Farmacias Roma in the Hipódromo neighborhood, a subject was reported shot. When the authorities arrived they found Damián Antonio Meza, 29, dead. Witnesses reported that he had been shot by a man wearing a gray jacket, who left the scene accompanied by a female in a white Ford truck.

After interrogating one of the people close to the victim, she pointed out that the young man was a legal resident in the United States and was dedicated to crossing cocaine to California, in addition to saying: “He works with El Flaquito.”

The body with a head wound was found on the side of a Nissan Sentra, license plates CU41Z63 from the State of California, and a .40 caliber pistol casing. The victim was carrying a silver metal chain and a black plastic key.

The previous month, at 5:00 p.m. on December 28 in Callejón del Beso in the neighborhood identified as Villagomez, in the vicinity of the Puerta de Hierro subdivision, a 37-year-old woman reported the armed attack against her husband, Adán Corona Flores, 40 years old.

When the police arrived, they confirmed that the man had gunshot wounds to the chest and head. He was sitting in the passenger seat aboard a white van that had damage to the body and windows.

The murderers, two men, arrived and fled the scene in a recent model gray Toyota Tundra pick-up.

“The wife of the deceased stated that they had arrived at the place to rent a house, and that they had already had contact with the owners. The alleged perpetrator arrived and without saying a word carried out the hit”; The victim reported that she worked in construction sector and had been unemployed for a few months.

The Intelligence areas of the local authorities identified the injured man as a cousin of James Brayan Corona el Apache, another CAF leader; however, after corroborating information with the United States, they found no relationship between the parents of both American citizens.

The authorities are investigating the subsequent publication of an audio on social networks of pages managed by organized crime, in which a subject who allegedly identifies himself as El Apache, claims to have been attacked. On December 30 in the Hipódromo subdivision, on Bugambilias Street, he mocks his enemies because he managed to flee.

Other attacks on victims identified by the authorities of the Baja California Security Committee as members of the CAF, which occurred last year, were:

– January 30, in the afternoon, Ricardo Verber Campos, 45, shot in the parking lot of the Galerías shopping center in the Hipódromo neighborhood in Tijuana.

– May 4, when leaving the Pub Coffe Bar 01 in the Gabilondo neighborhood, Cristian López Beltrán was attacked, who was left dead at the scene; and the body of Ángel Valles Rodríguez, found minutes later in front of the FGE offices in Zona Río. Both victims were related to David Gil Martínez (29 years old), identified as a survivor of an armed attack in 2021 and son of the former commander of the Baja California FGE, Lorenzo Martínez Mayorga.

-May 20 in San Vicente, Ensenada, ten people were killed and ten injured inside of a Razer all terrain vehicle, at the El Cachanillazo racing event.

– July 9, at night, in the parking lot of Soriana Chapultepec, they killed Víctor Manuel Gil García, the body was carrying two magazines in his clothes. He had a criminal record in Mexico and the United States.

-July 10, in the Plaza Río parking lot, they murdered Fidel Lucero Álvarez, 38 years old; They had put a GPS on the Jeep Sahara that he was driving.

– On October 1, four men and a woman were murdered in the Cantamar Dunes -Los Arenales- in Rosarito.

CDS HITMEN MURDERED

Pablo Santos Camacena, alias Julio Pablo Cruz 16 and/or El Oaxaco, 27 years old, identified as a hitman and trafficker at the service of the Sinaloa Cartel, was wanted by the FGE California for the crime of homicide, but his enemies found him before the authorities did.

At 3:09 p.m. on January 11, the emergency numbers received a call reporting that on Renacimiento and Misión Santo Tomas streets in the Kino neighborhood, in the Cerro Colorado district, aboard a gray 2009 Hyundai Elantra, license plate 6JDJ139 , they found the body of a man with gunshot wounds to the chest.

Leader of the same Camacena Sinaloa criminal cell, José Asbiel Torres Ramírez, alias Andrés Arreola and/or El Tate, was killed on January 17; He was naked, tortured and strangled inside a Nissan Xterra truck with California plates on Calle Puerta Platas and Valle de los Venados, in the Hacienda Los Venados neighborhood.

The FGE was looking for them both, with three homicide warrants. They had been tracking them since August 29, 2023, when they discovered a center with video surveillance cameras that the CDS had installed in the Las Torres, Magisterial, 10 de Mayo and Nido de las Águilas neighborhoods, Otay Centenario Delegation in Tijuana, deceiving citizens with $120 cameras that they controlled.

The final quarter of last year, faced with impunity, Torres had taken control, and "when any of the members of his cell were detained, he called to demand that they be released and threatened the police with death."

Carlos Ramírez Coria alias El Lakra, also from the CDS, with an arrest warrant for homicide, was killed by elements of the Tijuana Municipal Police on January 19, after a shootout on Calle 4 in the Granjas Familiares División del Norte neighborhood, in the Centenario district, around eight in the morning.

“Police try to pull over the occupants of a Jeep Cherokee –verbal commands are given through the loudspeaker, which they ignore by speeding away in reverse. Gunfire begins, the police unit is struck several times. The attack is repelled while the assailants are reversing at full speed, their vehicle hits a parked vehicle with Baja California license plates BKA555A, which hits the unit several times,” the police report states. The shooting continued while one of the suspects ran away, until they wounded him and "... they removed the weapon that was in his hand and the other that he had inside his waistband in order to give him first aid," but he was declared dead at the scene.

Axel Alfredo Cárdenas, Son of Gulf Cartel Boss, Released from Federal Prison

"Morogris" for Borderland Beat

Axel Alfredo Cardenas Rodriguez is the son of Gulf Cartel former top leader Jose Alfredo Cardenas Martinez, alias El Contador

A Mexican federal judge issued an order for the release of Axel Alfredo Cárdenas Rodríguez, a high-ranking member of the Gulf Cartel and the son of cartel leader José Alfredo Cárdenas Martínez, also known as El Contador.

Prison records indicate that Axel Alfredo was released on January 20 from the Federal Social Readaptation Center No. 1 (Altiplano), a maximum-security prison in the State of Mexico. He faced charges related to fentanyl trafficking and illegal possession of firearms, but it seems that these charges were dropped or invalidated by the judge.

He was released alongside another individual named Jesus Roberto Calderon Selvera, who had been arrested along with Axel Alfredo last summer.

Interestingly, the decision that resulted in Axel Alfredo's release was approved on January 18, the same day Gulf Cartel boss José Alberto García Vilano, alias La Kena, was apprehended in Monterrey. This ruling was endorsed by a federal judge situated in Reynosa, Tamaulipas.

Three Charged in Iranian Murder for Hire Plot with Canadian Hells Angels

"Socalj" for Borderland Beat

One Iranian and two Canadian nationals have been charged with conspiracy to use interstate commerce in the commission of a murder-for-hire plot. The network, headed by Iranian-narco trafficker Naji Zindashti, recruited British Columbia-based Hells Angels member Damion Patrick John Ryan to assassinate individuals in the US who fled Iran.

The defendants, one of whom is based in Iran, used an encrypted messaging service called “SkyECC” to recruit individuals who would travel into the United States to carry out the killings, to discuss the identities and locations of the would-be victims, to plan logistics and mechanics of how to carry out the murders, and to negotiate payment for completion of this “job” in Maryland.

Hitmen Execute Three Men And Accuse Commissioner Conrado Corral Of Betrayal: “These Dead People Are For You”

"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat

Unofficial versions pointed to the CJNG as the criminal group that would be behind these events.

Before being executed, the victims were interrogated by the gunmen.

Conrado Corral Leyva, head of the Zitácuaro District Police Station, attached to the Ministry of Public Security of Michoacán, was once again the target of accusations for his apparent links with organized crime.

On the night of January 27, local authorities found an abandoned vehicle at a gas station in the Emiliano Zapata neighborhood. In the trunk lay the bodies of three men and a piece of cardboard with the following message: “These dead people are for you Conrado. The day you are no longer in this municipality we will have peace.”

Hours before the discovery, a video was broadcast on social networks showing the interrogation to which the victims had been subjected. In the material, one of the subjects is lying on the ground, while the remaining two appear kneeling. Behind them are three hitmen who direct the conversation.

Video translation is as follows:

Sicario: What do you do for a living?

Captive: We steal and sell drugs.

Sicario: Who were you working for?

Captive: For Commander Reséndiz of the State Guard.

Sicario: What do you do with the stolen property?

Captive: We sell off everything. And every Monday we give Commander Conrado an account of what all transpired. If it happens that he’s not around, we debrief with Commander Reséndiz.

Sicario: Now we understand why the Civil Guard doesn’t arrest thieves. And the authorities can corroborate that here lately there haven’t been any arrests of thieves. All of this is due to the actions of the Civil Guard.

Cardboard found next to the corpses

At the end of the series of questions, the gunmen unload their weapons against these individuals until their faces are disfigured.

In previous days, Commissioner Conrado Corral had already been mentioned in a series of narco-messages signed by the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG), whose leader in the municipality is William Edwin Rivera Padilla, alias 'El Barbas'.

"Everything happening in Zitacuaro is the fault of Commander Conrado of the Civil Guard for stealing money and betraying me," reads one of the banners placed in different communities in the municipality.

In the same threat, the four-letter cartel refers to an audio that was leaked in March 2023, which evidenced the closeness of Conrado Corral Leyva with a local plaza boss identified as Edwin, possibly 'El Barbas'.

Banner allegedly placed by the CJNG in Zitácuaro

"Show some respect, I'm not looking for you and that's all there is to it. I know where the people are, I also know how they move, at what point have I been chasing after you?" were the words of the security official during the conversation.

Another of the intimidations signed by the CJNG included a call to Governor Alfredo Ramirez Bedolla and Security Secretary Jose Alfredo Ortega Reyes.

"They were warned that [Conrado] is stealing and collecting quotas from loggers and roadhouses, this war is solely directed against Conrado."

An Indian national pleaded guilty today to selling controlled substances on dark web marketplaces and agreed to forfeit $150 million. In April 2019, Singh was arrested in London, and the United States secured his extradition in 2023.

According to court documents, Banmeet Singh, 40, of Haldwani, India, created vendor marketing sites on dark web marketplaces, such as Silk Road, Alpha Bay, Hansa, and others, to sell controlled substances, including fentanyl, LSD, ecstasy, Xanax, Ketamine, and Tramadol. Customers ordered controlled substances from Singh using the vendor sites and by paying with cryptocurrency. Singh then personally shipped or arranged the shipment of controlled substances from Europe to the United States through USPS mail or other shipping services.

'LOS SALAZAR'/'LOS CAZADORES'/'LOS PAREDES'

A new alliance has been formed among major criminal trafficking organizations which include "Los Salazar"/"Los Cazadores"/"Los Paredes" according to 'Sonora Informativo' Facebook page.

Sonora Informativo | Facebook is a highly credible online page with real-time news, classifieds, and information about Sonora and relevant information.

Sonora Informativo states the following, "In a new alliance as an Independent Cartel, the main state leaders of the organizations 'Los Salazar' from Navojoa and 'Los Paredes' from Agua Prieta have sent reinforcements to 'Los Cazadores' to take over the northwestern part of the state.

The group of people with assault weapons that tried to rescue the son of 'El Chubeto' was identified as part of the alliance above, among them a criminal leader from Agua Prieta who was part of the close circle of Leonel Toscano Cuevas alias 'El Tigre' and Guadalupe Cano Soto 'El Guero Cano' and/or 'El Zapatos Sucios."

The announcement of the new 'Independent Cartel' and its ramifications is yet truly unknown, but no doubt another bloodbath is upcoming. The question I asked myself is if the Los Chapos faction of the Sinaloa Cartel led by Ivan Archivaldo and Alfredo Guzman-Salazar are at war with Los Salazar?
