Hell On The Border: Fighting In Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas, Continues To Intensify Between Gulf Cartel Rival Factions

"Char" and "Enojon" for Borderland Beat

The following video was reposted from Alerta Tamaulipas

The fighting does not stop between rival factions of Gulf Cartel Reynosa against Matamoros Group Scorpions. Not even holidays like Christmas and  New Year's seem to ease the fighting. Reportedly heavy fighting occurred this past Friday-Saturday at midnight when Group Metros of Reynosa made an incursion into Rio Bravo which is a plaza controlled by Group Scorpions of Matamoros.

It was reported on X or Twitter, that Group Metros of Reynosa left a message on a wall with graffiti, and code names of identified commanders of Group Metros of Reynosa.

    1. Not sure about that. CDN frequently gets in unecessary trouble with SEMAR/SEDENA/GN. They loose a lot of equipment/sicarios. Thats why they struggle to dominate another cities. The only municipality they have completely on lock is Nuevo Laredo.

    2. What more do you want. Not sukin helmets here but not even Culiacan is on lock like these pieces of dog shit have nuevo Laredo.

    3. Cdn don’t need anything else other than Nuevo Laredo and they will be getting stronger z40 must have soo much money by this point

    4. Owning Nuevo Laredo is like owning Tijuana. Automatic huge money. Jillions of pesos!

    5. Cdn is weak and is lucky that the metros are always fighting with matamoros or fighting with themselves or else the metros wld be pushing to nuevo laredo.

  7. They’ve been at war the longest out of all the cartels huh ? Basically ever since Osiel left it’s been multiple wars between multiple factions with no telling how many dead. I thought the name of the game was lay low and send the loads. But these guys didn’t get the memo.

  8. I feel that eventually CDG Matamoros and CDN are going to box in the Metros and it's going to be game over for Primito. Tamaulipas is those plazas like Michoacan Sinaloa Tijuana Juarez hard for any out of state cartel to come in and set up shop in the long term

    1. I feel like nobody is gonna win, those groups have been there forever, remember metros are also CDG but now with the help of CJNG nobody is gonna take their plaza

    4. 9:31 doesn't sound to king-ish to me to be getting slaughterd left and right in Zacatecas Michoacan Jalisco Matamoros SLP Chiapas Baja California

    6. Cdg matamoros will not ally with cdn because they are always killing each other in ciudad victoria. Last time cdn said that they were going to fight the metros with matamoros and a day or 2 later the the matamoros faction killed a cdn operative in cd victoria and left a essage that there was no truce.

  15. One thing I don't get are these claves. Are the metros recycling them? And primitos brother clave R-8. He's not part of the original Rojos nor have I found anything of him being part of Tampico. Can anyone shed some light. On primito and his brothers early days with Gulf Cartel.

    1. Primito is the one they called "Primito de Camargo" when the war started between CDG y Los Zetas. My opinion is he was already a factor in La Frontera Chica as a trafficker. For some time no pictures of him were known. IDK if Zetas also had him confused but they put up banners and/or internet publications where they identified him as some individual named Bartolo "El Primo".

    2. Honestly I don't think he goes that far back. I'd say 2015 or 2016 you started to hear his name. When el toro was in charge. His clave always seemed off M-300.

      Delete
    3. 8:57 just cause you didnt hear his name it doesnt mean he wasnt there, when have you seen a newbe take the top spot in a cryminal org? He was putting in work since the begining but was low key.
      Thats my honest opinion

    4. El Primto was close to Toro . If it wasn't for Toro . Primito wouldn't be shit

    6. Kind to hard to believe him in CDG for so long with out his name ringing bells. I honestly think hes CJNG implant or the Metro CJNG partnership was in play when El Toro was in command.

    7. He’s been around since at least 09

    8. R8 was or is a Rojo from Tampico. Been around for a bit. Actually heard of him before I heard about Primito.

      Delete
    9. primito wasn't around before 2010 . Alot of the old metros don't even like him . He just has alot of $$$ but once it starts running out his own Metros going to turn him in .

  17. Escorpiones Factions own most of Tamps so they got the capitol Victoria and San Fernando , Matamoros and into Veracruz , Cd Mante, San Luis Potosi. Alot of Factions loyal to La Kena that can send troops for big fights like when they took San Fernando from ZVE CJNG and Metros. They send troops from up from Cd Victoria and down from Matamoros and beat Three cartels in two days. Metros are holding on to Reynosa but are never going to take any territory from CDG Escorpiones.

    1. 8:23 CDG Matamoros has actually gone after cjng in some parts of SLP recently

    2. They do not those cities on lock they literally dispute Ciudad Victoria and San fernando with ZVE and los metros. and ciudad mante still has a few CDN cells active

      Delete
    3. 8:23 AM They didn't take San Fernando or CD Victoria they have people in San Luis Potosi.

    4. 8:23 you are trying a little to hard buddy

    5. Southern tamaulipas has a 3rd cdg faction out of tampico that is not involved in the war between metros and escorpiones. They are not saints but they are a lot more low key.
