The Secretary of Security of the State of Mexico informed on December 24, 2023, regarding the arrest of Santiago Ramón "N", who is allegedly related to the abduction of four people, who were engaged in the sale of chicken.

Through a press release, the authorities identified Santiago Ramón "N" as a member of the criminal group La Familia Michoacana, who was dedicated to extorting traders, specifically for the collection of money.

"He even actively participated in the kidnapping of victims who refused to make the payments that he demanded," added the Secretary of Security of the state of Michoacán in the communiqué, in which it also affirmed that the investigation had begun, because said subject would be related to several cases of kidnapping by La Familia Michoacana.

In addition, the Mexican Ministry of Security affirmed that the Federal Security and Citizen Protection Secretariat (SSPC), the National Anti-Kidnapping Coordination (CONASE), the National Intelligence Center (CN) and the National Defense Secretariat (SEDENA) participated in the arrest.

Since Friday, December 22, 2023, the video of the kidnapping of four people who were in a warehouse, where they were storing raw chicken meat for sale, was disseminated through various social networks at 5:15 a.m. that same day.

The recording showed that the criminals entered the warehouse, subdued the workers and placed them into a white vehicle. The incident took place in the Parques Nacionales neighborhood in the capital of the State of Mexico.

The initial version suggests that the business was forced to pay extortion payments, presumably to the La Familia Michoacana cartel. The four missing persons were identified as Eliseo Escobar Ramírez, Rigoberto Colín Consuelo, Isidoro Díaz Casimiro, Jaime Ramos Reyes, aged 47, 41, 40 and 22, respectively.

The disappearance of the four persons was documented before the Attorney General's Office of the State of Mexico (FGJEM). The state justice institution issued the corresponding search alerts for each one of them.

  2. Go get those farmers that fucked them up 2 weeks ago. This is not a drug cartel. It’s some low life cops, gang members and thugs working to tear down what little income the community has. The plaza racketeers sucking money out of business because their leader has no real hustle.
