Poverty in Mexico in 2018 before AMLO became president was at 49.9% and in 2022 it was 43.5%. And if by deteriorating you mean safety wise, then that is also false. Mexico saw a 9.7% drop in homicides in 2022 compared to 2021. In 2022, Mexico reached its lowest murder rate since 2017.
