"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat
Information is limited at this time on the actual name of the individual above. Nonetheless, the man with the missing eyes is alleged to be Comandante Gordo. In English his moniker would translate as being Commander Fatso.
The how and why he was christened with this name will for the time being also remain a mystery. What little was released about him online suggests the he was a commander positioned in the town of San Pedro Pierda Gorda, Zacatecas. His allegiance was to the Cartel de Sinaloa. Specifically for the Mayo Zambada faction.
In addition, the route that he purportedly often took for travel allowed him to journey freely between numerous towns. All of which are currently recorded as being under a 100 mile radius. At some point during one of his numerous road trips that he felt confident to travel in on the way towards Valparaiso.
He was unfortunately captured by gunmen from the Jalisco New Generation Cartel. And the CJNG being who they are, heinous goons who show no mercy towards their adversaries, took his eyes out.
By committing this evil action, the Jalisco New Generation Cartel not only all at once took him out of the fight. They also purposely left him alive for these photos to serve as a warning to anyone else who wants to risk it all for their cartel.
* News has surfaced that he was transported across state lines and dropped off near the town of Huejuqiulla Jalisco. Comandante Gordo was dismembered and disposed of soon after these photos were taken.

CJNG was in my town about 1 year ago but los flechas already kicked them out . Instead of supporting your favorite cartel in Zacatecas I would recommend for you to go visit instead. Beautiful places

Especially now that the blind has to depend on someone, the family will view them as a burden. Who wants to take care of a blind grown man, that will definitely affect the families thought process on how they view the cartel life. Just my opinion tho.

The so called ''official'' version says his eyes were removed from his head, but they were still in his head when the police removed and photographed his body. If they missed that fact the rest is nonsense. He had broken bones in his legs which would be consistent with the story that he was arrested or handed himself in, was beaten by police, turned over, and then shot in the back of the head. Some kid saw the original photo of his tongue protruding-consistent with execution- , and like the bullshit about his missoing eyes their imagination ran wild.

His tongue is protruding (They stretched his tongue!!!) and you cant see his eyes very well (They gouged out his eyes!!!). @7.57. No, LOL, why would we agree on that? Those photos where he is ''on his knees'', you are imagining things. They were sent as proof of capture, and look at the picture again- there was no knife. The autopsy showed nothing except for a shattered leg hours old and a head that had been shattered by a gunshot from behind. The rest is pure fantasy and lurid speculation. He was handed over by police who incapacitated him, and despite all the media bullshit he was killed quickly.
