Adán Salazar Zamorano is accused of trafficking large quantities of cocaine from Mexico to the United States.

Adán Salazar Zamorano, identified as the leader of the criminal group "Los Salazar", linked to the Sinaloa Cartel, was extradited to the United States.

Adán Salazar Zamorano is allegedly responsible for trafficking large quantities of cocaine from Mexico to the US.

In compliance with the Extradition Treaty signed between Mexico and the United States, the Attorney General's Office (FGR) extradited Salazar, alias "Don Adán", to the US government. He is wanted by the Federal District Court for the Western District of Texas for crimes of criminal association and crimes against health.

The Attorney General's Office stated that the extradition took place inside the Federal Center for Social Readaptation No. 5 "Oriente" in Villa Aldama, Veracruz, due to the fact that he was being prosecuted in several criminal proceedings.

The extradition took place at Mexico City's International Airport (AICM) to the US agents appointed to transfer him to the end of the process.
