"Tony Montana", Brother Of Nemesio Oseguera, "El Mencho" Seeks To Reverse Extradition To The U.S.

 "Ivan" for Borderland Beat

The United States is seeking to bring Antonio Oseguera Cervantes before a District Court in the District of Columbia on charges of international drug trafficking and weapons possession.

MEXICO CITY (proceso.com.mx) - Antonio Oseguera Cervantes, "Tony Montana," brother of Jalisco Cartel - New Generation leader Nemesio Oseguera, "El Mencho," is seeking to overturn the extradition request filed against him by the U.S. government.

Oseguera Cervantes' lawsuit was sent to the Third District Judge for Amparo and Federal Trials in the State of Mexico, Everardo Maya Arias, who declared himself incompetent to hear the amparo and ordered the file to be returned to the Twelfth District Judge in Mexico City.

According to the courts, the United States is seeking to bring "Mencho's" brother before a District Court in the District of Columbia for the crimes of international drug trafficking and arms possession.

Last January, the U.S. Department of Justice filed indictments against Antonio Oseguera Cervantes for international trafficking of cocaine and methamphetamine, as well as possession of weapons to commit drug trafficking.

In the U.S. indictment, Oseguera Cervantes is charged with allegedly conspiring to distribute more than five kilograms of cocaine and more than 500 grams of methamphetamine since January 1998.

The U.S. government considers him to be a high-level member of the CJNG, in charge of money laundering and international drug trafficking activities.

Through diplomatic note 16-0682, the US State Department formally requested the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE) to hand over Antonio Oseguera Cervantes, "Tony Montana", arrested by the Army and the National Guard in Tlajomulco de Zúñiga, Jalisco, in December of last year.

    10. 12;10 true, you cant trust a criminal but even in that bussiness there are levels, like in everything, for example its not the same chicharito to messi in soccer, yea they are pro players but you can see the difference, its not the same Chaves jr to Canelo in boxing, yea they are both boxers but they at a different level, just like you cant compare any cartel to CDS in the snitching department, yea they all snitch but no cartel snitches like CDS

  7. Instead of having a low profile. Having a name like that deserves to get the attention he likes, put him in jail.
