CJNG Hitmen Circulate With Impunity Between The State Lines of Zacatecas And Jalisco

"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat

Convoys of CJNG hitmen are taking advantage of the scarce or non-existent presence of the National Guard and the Mexican Army in municipalities such as Apulco. They're circulating at all hours through towns bordering Zacatecas and Jalisco.

  4. It’s true… CJNG def controls much of the routes between Zac & Jalisco… I have family that refuse to travel between the two for fear of kidnapping… the women def don’t travel alone & family if they do travel only travel in a large group… sad but true…

    2. I was in Apulco and a vet from Teocal was afraid to come see my uncles animals. We had to pick him up.

I went to the fiestas in Tlachichila and was hanging with my cousin and his friends. I said the word Teocal and they told me not to say that word. They advised if anyone asks where I’m from to say the US and I’m just visiting. There is instability for sure.

Cjng is extorting ranchers for every head of cattle sold they charging $800 pesos per head plus a percentage for kilo ends up being close $2,000 pesos per head and they have to sell to cjng aligned buyers at their price.

    1. In north town of Jalisco , the cjng is setting the price per kilo and also who can only buy the cattle . Before any rancher could choose the buyer even from another state , now it’s only local buyers

    3. 3:38 you misunderstood what he meant. He means that cjng use to be deep in central Zacatecas now they are way in the south of Zacatecas by the border area with even more guys they send to guard the border because they have been pushed south

    4. 7:49 they are still in deep bud, why do you think theres shoot outs all over zacatecas? Or are the killings only happening "way in the south of zacatecas"?

President just announced 50 more military barracks in Jalisco. I think so far there have been close to 600 built during his 4 years in office. Change doesn't come over night, but just as a commenter mentioned in another article, Mexico will become safer in the coming years if the next administration continues with the current administrations agenda.

    1. 5:18 you are the comedian of the week, 😂 lol, I can't stop laughing 🤣.
      "Change does not come overnight".
We have been waiting almost 4 years, to get up and have him and his government, do something about, the everyday homicides, that happens on his watch.
Building barracks does not accomplish anything, all the soldiers do, is wash the vehicles, exercise, play cards, smoke some joints.

    2. 555. LOL so according to you, ZERO barracks is better than 50 barracks. 🤣 I can't stop laughing.
