The State Table for the Construction of Peace and Security, reports that during the operational and surveillance actions carried out by the security corporations, in the municipality of Jerez, seven dead individuals were located, all wearing tactical clothing, some even had insignia for a criminal group.
During the reconnaissance and security tours carried out in a coordinated manner by the security corporations of the three government orders, in the Serrana de Jerez area, on a dirt road that leads to the Los Motas ranch, the bodies of the seven individuals, all males, were located.
Security corporations are currently positioned in the area.
The Investigative Police and Forensics from the State Attorney General's Office carried out the collection of evidence in order to integrate the corresponding investigation.

Gunmen from the Sinaloa and Jalisco Cartel -New Generation (CJNG) clashed this Sunday morning in mountain communities in the municipality of Jerez [...]
The corpses all 'wore tactical clothing, some even bore the initials of a criminal group,' informed the State Roundtable for the Construction of Peace and Security, when reporting the discovery.
The bodies had multiple bullet wounds and belonged to the CJNG, security sources confirmed.
