“Mayito Gordo” Set to be Deported to Mexico

"Socalj" for Borderland Beat

The United States will renounce its's supervision of "Mayito" with his being deported and he would be prevented from entering the US in the future.

After Ismael Zambada Imperial, alias el Mayito Gordo was released after serving part of a nine-year sentence in California, United States, son of Ismael “El Mayo” Zambada is expected to return to Mexico, where he will lose his American supervision, despite having several years of probation pending.

It was on July 21 that El Mayito Gordo left a medium-security prison in California, after having been apprehended in Sinaloa in 2014 and sentenced just a month ago. However, he had already pleaded guilty as early as 2021. He was sentenced to 108 months in prison, taking into account the years he spent in preventive detention.

Now, "Mayito Gordo" will return to Mexico through the Garita de San Ysidro, Tijuana in the state of Baja California, deported by the US authorities, according to the Zeta Tijuana media outlet. According to the report, his entry into the national territory is expected on Wednesday, July 27, a few days after being released. Zambada Imperial does not have pending charges in Mexico.

“If you are deported, excluded, or allowed to voluntarily return to your home country, do not re-enter the United States. Supervision is waived in case of deportation, exclusion or voluntary departure,” reads the final section. For his part, to obtain his parole, the minor of the Zambada dynasty had to agree to 17 guidelines, including submitting to standard supervision, according to his level of criminality. Also, the sentenced person may not possess or use drugs and perform various tests periodically.

Also, it was included in not repeating crimes of the local and federal order in the US and getting a stable and legal job, apart from not being able to establish communication with people involved in criminal activities, such as his father and his brothers.

For this reason, El Mayito Gordo is strictly prohibited from contacting his father , Ismael Zambada García, alias El Mayo, as well as his brothers Vicente Zambada Niebla, El Vicentillo and Serafín Zambada Ortiz, El Sera.

However, according to the sentencing document mentioned above, in the last section it is mentioned that in case of extradition, deportation, or voluntary expulsion, the United States waives supervision over the subject. So it is likely that he will not have to abide by these guidelines and have no supervision in Mexico since he does not face charges there.

  3. That can be two sided. Either to go back and help and keep stability with the CDS. orrrrrrr and that's a BIG OR: they ( chapitos ) will do the same they did to mini lic and chino etc.

I don't see too much good intention coming from this. But being renounced is pretty big.

    2. His dad a big maybe ? On being a billionaire that’s crazy …if Arturo Beltran Leyva was said to be worth at least a couple billion by the US government back when he died in 2009 , how much do you think Mayos worth ?who’s been going strong since and actually held a war with Arturo for a couple years .

Money is left thrown around ,,money is the least of there worries …now imagine these guys who sell in the Tons to Europe to Asia , to the US ,supply entire cities man , not only in Cocaine, meth, fentanyl . They make billions in a couple years . Amado Carrillo Fuentes was said to make 200 million ever week or month I think something like that

      Delete
    5. @9:01, they make a lot of money but the government does over inflate their worth. They do this to make the bust look more salacious to the media and average citizens (10 kilos is a million dollar bust when that isn’t true). The drugs have to be congratulated, because they won the war on drugs.

      Delete
    6. Exactly 10:36

      Delete
    7. @10:36 your talking about bust that’s different -yes the government inflates the worth of the drugs - but the money generated by the Capos can’t be ignored they easily make millions hundreds of millions on a short period of time , a couple years . I mean how else was Arturo BL paying 450,000 dollars a month to the guys in charge of capturing him or how was mochomo caught with 900,000 dollars cash , most likely a payment for some official.

      Delete
    8. 450k when he was in the Federation as BL had the task of bribing officials. This sum was on behalf of the 4 or 5 heads of that group.

    10. @7:58 right during 2008 ?? That when Noe Ramirez got arrested for accepting payments of 450 k a month . Mayo and Chapo were already at war with Arturo and it was Arturo who was paying that amount , not the federation . Point being if he was able to pay just one official almost 6 million a year imagine how much he paid just on bribing officials all over the country and lieutenants ,workers ?

  8. That was nice of the U.S. government to milk him for information, give him a favorable plea deal and send him back to Mexico with a bullseye painted on his back.
They could have at least sent him to a country like Argentina or Uruguay where at least he has a chance at survival.
Getting put in such danger wasn't a part of his plea agreement.
If he gets whacked you will see a lot less cooperation with U.S. authorities. Real smart thinkers in the U.S. government.
Zeta is a reliable news source. I hope they are wrong on this one and he gets assistance in relocating to a third country.

    3. It goes beyond his personal safety. When informants get whacked it discourages others from providing information.
On the part of the U.S. government, their reputation is important. When they make a deal with an informant, the informant puts his life on the line.
The government gets it's benefit and the informant gets his. If he is a U.S. citizen, is released and lays low, he receives the benefit of his bargain. If he is deported and killed, he has received no bargain at all.

    4. 1016 let’s be real here 98% of people in general would snitch if facing 15+ years. You’ll see in the next few years as the US cracks down on CJNG, when mencho is on trial how countless of his former friends and associates snitch on him to save themselves. Look at the italian mafia, they all started folding when they started handing out long term sentences like candy.

      Delete
    5. @4:30 we're not talking about the general population here. Theses are active traffickers. CDS cooperate with USA authorities, thats been apparent for several decades. I don't know of any individual who within a very short period of time is exporting/importing/selling multiple kilos, gets busted and now wants to snitch on his associates. It doesn't work that way. You have to be connected to be trusted and have access to the drugs, you have to be an active participant to be charged in a Continuing Criminal Enterprise and be exposed to potential decades of imprisonment.
Just compare the sentences of AFO shot callers to CDS and it'll be very clear who's a 🐁

      Delete
    6. 5:56 all the arrested top CDS traffickers got pretty long sentences. Only exception is the zambadas faction which everyone agrees cooperated with USA government. CJNG hasn’t had any of their top capos put on trial in US for underlings to snitch on. If you think most traffickers of any cartel will do 15+ years instead of simply cooperating you are sorely mistaken. Guys who don’t snitch no matter how harsh the potential sentence are 1 out of 100.

    7. Did JT get a long sentence? Chino? Güero Palma?

    8. 4:30 well 98% of people in here stay the fuck away from drug activitis that would lead them to do 15+ years, cant do the time dont do the crime, its not that complicated, dont want to be called a snitch? Dont snitched! Its that simple, life in general is really simple but theres some people who love that drama🐁🐁🐁

  19. After el chino was killed by Ivan Guzman, the assumption is that vicentillo and el mayito gordo would meet the same fate. Not gonna happen. I’ll admit, I haven’t done much home work on Ivan. But if he thinks he will get away with Killing mayos sons no matter what they did, he’s in for a rude awakening . If he’s smart he will use that as a negotiating leverage point. “If we’re splitting the empire, I want more territory, given that your sons are rats and my people are itching to kill them” devils advocate speaking, el mayo will probably say, “ you know that if you kill my sons. I’ll have no choice but to declare war”
we all know mayo will win. His political connections are untouchable.

    2. Cjng wont work with chapitos. They let them go when they kidnaped them cuz mayo spoke for them. Chapitos have a history of not wanting to work or now knowing how to work with any one. Since they got power they fought. Damasos. Rusos. Caro quintero. And some others. To get their way.

      Delete
  20. @1116 @204. I don’t believe that el mayo would allow his sons to return to Culiacán . both have spent time and even lived in Mexico City. Mayos political protection comes from there. I would put them in a neighborhood in cdmx full of rich people and politicians, along with a security team. In regards to your comments, As much as chapitos have shown there disdain for mayos people over the years, to include los ántrax, rusos, his sons ETC, I think they understand at this point that going to war with el mayo would be a crucial mistake. On the other side of that, los chapitos have shown one their biggest weaknesses. Holding grudges. If they were smart, they could Broker a deal with CJNG to fight mayo (if it came to that) But I don’t think they could forgive CJNG for kidnapping them. Which is funny Because it goes back to my original point about mayos influence in the narco landscape. He showed his power by negotiating their release.
