Atenango del Río, Guerrero: The Cartel de la Sierra Video Communique

"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat

An armed group which identifies itself as the Cartel de la Sierra sends a message out to citizens from the municipality of Atenango del Río and its surroundings in the state of Guerrero. They affirm that they’re targeting kidnappers and extortionists who support "Cholo Palacios".

Video translation is as follows:

This is a statement for the municipality of Atenango del Río and its surroundings. Just to let you know that the Cartel de la Sierra is already here. We’ve come for the whole gang of kidnappers and extortionists who support Cholo Palacios.

Mr. Mayor, you know damn well the reason for the attack. The citizens of Atenango all know that you support that gang of scumbags. As for you, Cholo Palacios, we’re going to bring you down wherever you are. We already know which hill you are hiding in. We're going to bring you down you piece of shit thief. Sincerely, The Sierra Cartel

Sicarios scream: Long live the Sierra Cartel!

    2. Your people can't even win with the Southern Mexicans in Los Angeles lost 70% of the City to them 😂

    3. 2:16 they "lost" after somebody unleashed the crack epidemic, in Califa as all over the US.
Remember creepublican'ts in power since governor reagan Made Califa Great Again until police abuses made Black Power riots rule because of "they" found the cops innocent of beating Rodney King like a dirty dog...
Of course Rodney King is dead now, while the cops may be free enjoying cushy private security
      jobs and their high pensions.

  2. We have more guns than people. And we can legally use force to equalize a threat. So don’t see cartels coming over here running through towns taking over. The citizens would get to you before law enforcement is ever called.

    1. Actually there are so called sleeper cells, of some cartels in the USA, they are told to remain low profile, to work with the local gangs, unfortunately they blow their cover or safe house, case in point, North Carolina James Brown knows this one. Cjng safehouse was being robbed by Barney Harris, a shootout ensued, Barney exposed the place since police got involved.

    2. @9:20am. Barney Harris was set up. Operators of the CJNG safehouse were diluting the product and shorting the money sent back to Mexico. The bosses got fed up and greenlighted a blackout operation on the safehouse.
In order to throw off the authorities, they found a gullible black man and told him the safehouse regularly held $250,000. Barney Harris fell for it and you know the rest.

    3. Oh yeah I read that one here on BB.
Barney High school teacher by day, rob safehouses by night, I guess the high school job did not pay well. He had invested on a bullet proof vest, but he still ended up getting killed. His family at the press conference, critiqued the police and border patrol for letting in Mexican criminals into USA, LaSiqkua has the oddasity to say that, that Barney did do nuffin. Hell Barney was no Angel either.

    1. 7:01 many americans lose their weapons that end up on some mexican narcos hands, but most are sold straight from manufacturers and stores and everybody and their dog know drug money pays for them.
At least make losing your weapon an offense with fines equal to the cost of the weapon, but nooo, legislators are wringing their hands over billions of dollars for mental health of mass murderers with intent to have that money in their own pockets

  6. I see why people in Mexico fear the cartels cause they don’t have access to the weapons. Sure your big shit if you and 20 other mf take guns and go take over towns where the people don’t have guns. Big bad dudes. Yet they are terrified to get locked up in America. Won’t cross border for shit, but terrorize old people and your own citizens cause you got guns and they don’t.
