Monterrey, Nuevo León: Chino Norte Disseminates A New Narco Message

"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat

A recent article published by Borderland Beat has shed light on a new armed criminal cell who signed off as: With An Advance Warning There Is No Betrayal. Once again this criminal organization has produced another broadcast stating their purpose and objective.

Video translation is as follows:

Good evening everyone. I’m Chino Norte. I want everyone in the state to know that I don’t work for any cartel. I’m an independent trafficker. We don’t kill, abduct, or extort. We just want to dedicate ourselves to our job, and that’s the trafficking. My men are exclusively here to care for and protect my mob from the scumbags and snitches. We don’t work with the government either.

Those who hold a badge will always do so in service for the badge. And crooked individuals will always be crooked. Many people have stained my name. But the truth is they’re nothing more than low grade individuals doing dumb shit. We’re currently here. We don’t mess with anyone. So, don’t mess with us. We are at the behest of the townspeople.

  3. If I were an independent trafficker the last thing I'd want is attention or notoriety 🤷🏻‍♂️

  4. Hopefully what he's saying is true. Believe it or not there was a time when for the most part drug traffickers were just that and didn't mess with the average citizen. The only things that got taxed were illicit businesses. And the traffickers would do things from the heart (el dia de los niños events, build schools, hospitals, churches, help in natural disasters, etc.). They had rules and most of them had or believed in ethics, principles, and honor. Yeah, things happened at times that is some what similar to now a days, but that wasn't the norm and wasn't to common. If they to go back to how they were before, it would be so much better for the average innocent Mexican population. They would be able to go about life without wondering if something is going to happen to them for doing something as simple as taking an evening walk.

    2. Actually 129 is right. I think. There was an article here on how the beltranes I think killed some of their men when they ( the beltranes ) found out that their sicarios were messing with the towns people.
