Soldiers from the Army (SEDENA), National Guard and agents from the Attorney General's Office (FGR) secured in the town of Carboneras, municipality of Culiacán. This is the largest seizure of methamphetamine under the current administration.
In a statement, the agencies reported that a building used as a collection center for synthetic drugs was located on the site on January 27, in which they found more than 5,800 kilograms of methamphetamine.
The home was located by elements of the Army, who established a security fence, while FGR agents obtained a search warrant.
“The agents of the Attorney General’s Office, with the support of members of the National Guard, proceeded to complete the search warrant, locating inside it 3,907 kilograms of methamphetamine and 2,408 kilograms of methamphetamine in liquid state, and that when crystallized would have a weight of 1 thousand 926 kilos. The seized drug and the property were placed at the disposal of the competent authorities.
The statement did not say if there were any detainees.

I wonder if it was due to lack of paying bribes, rivals soltaron la sopa, or an honest militsry or govt alto mando went and actually did his job.
