Armed attacks in Silao and Apaseo el Grande, Guanajuato, leave at least 15 dead. So far no people have been detained.
Yuriria Sierra: Even in the state of Guanajuato there were violent days. There were at least 15 deaths just this weekend.
Luis Negrete: How are you Yuria, good afternoon. This weekend there were 2 massacres in the municipalities of Silao and Apasdo el Grande in the state of Guanajuato. In both events, 15 people were found dead.
In Apaseo el Grande, armed subjects entered a home in the San Telmo neighborhood and murdered 5 people. Among them 3 women, a girl, and a teenager. In this same event, an 8-month-old baby was injured.
A threatening cardboard message was found at the crime scene for what is presumed to be a settling of accounts.
On the same day, Saturday, in the community of Puerta Grande in the municipality of Silao, an armed group fired at people who were at a children's party. In fact 4 people died at the scene.
While another 6 lost their lives when they received medical attention. Yuriria, for all these events so far there are no people detained nor has any official announcement been made.
That's sad, an 8 month old bady was injured (smh). I hope and pray he's/she's doing well. Is it known what the catulina stated and/or what dto is bhind the killings?
