CJNG Retaliate Against CSRL, Execute A Man & Burn A Business In Celaya, Guanajuato

"HEARST" and "Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat

Just a few hours after the Cartel Santa Rosa de Lima (CSRL) uploaded a video threatening Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generacion (CJNG), denouncing that they hurt the innocent citizens of Guanajuato, the CJNG Grupo Elite allegedly executed a man and burned down a barber shop they allege was selling CSRL narcotics in the city of Celaya.

Background

On November 4, 2021, a video which allegedly depicts members of the CSRL standing in front of what appears to be a police patrol car was uploaded online. The video was covered in depth by Sol Prendido earlier this week in this story, with a full transcript of what was said.

The hitmen threaten members of their rival the CJNG, describing them as “constantly crying in your narco messages about us killing innocent civilians and all that other shit. When the truth of the matter is that you assholes are the ones who are fucking up.”

Later in the video they say "Stop talking all that shit that you’ve come to do away with the assassins of innocent civilians."

The vehicle in question.

Of note, the State Police later released a statement that they had done a full review of their fleet of vehicles and had determined that none were unaccounted for, so the State Police patrol vehicle seen in the video was a cloned version of their vehicles.

The Execution in Celaya

The earliest known Twitter reference to the CSRL video occurred at 11:22am, giving us a rough estimate of the upload time. Just a few hours later, at approximately 2:00 pm on the same day that the video was uploaded, the CJNG allegedly struck back at the CSRL. A call was received by the 911 emergency phone line which reported a man was lying dead in the middle of a street. Police officers were dispatched to the reported location which was within the Valle Hermoso neighborhood of the city of Celaya, in the state of Guanajuato.

At the reported site, the officers discovered a fire burning at a small barber shop located on Margarita and Camelia streets and a man lying dead in the middle of the street, just a few meters away. Firefighters were called to the scene and the flames were put out.

After the fire was extinguished, officers began questioning witnesses and they pieced together that shortly before 2:00 pm, two armed men arrived at the barber shop, got out of their pickup truck and went inside where they had a brief conversation with a man who was associated with the business. Information Agora refers to the man as the manager of the barbershop. Noticias en la Mira refers to the man as the owner.

The armed men ended their conversation and left the establishment, then they turned back towards it and  threw a Molotov cocktail at the shop, which immediately set the location on fire.

In an attempt to protect himself from the flames, the man inside left the shop and tried to flee the area. However the two armed men shot him up, causing him to collapse onto the street. The man was hit in the head, back and chest. Once the men were certain the man was deceased, the men pulled out a neon yellow narco message sign and left it on top of his body. The two men then re-entered their pick up truck and left the area.

Warning: Graphic content, dead body shown.

A video which depicts a car passing by just shortly after the two attackers left was uploaded to twitter. In the video the fire is still burning and the dead body lying in the street is shown. Although the barber's identity has not been released by authorities it was said that he was a neighbor of the area and shortly after the attack, his relatives arrived at the crime scene.

Later, a photo of the narco message sign that was left next to the dead body was uploaded to twitter. The sign read as follows, as translated by Sol Prendido:

We, the CJNG, don’t mess with businesses. We always respect.

But if the filthy criminals start to release their videos or sell blue crystal meth, we’re going to fucking destroy them.

We’ve left the first individual on the hit list we went after.

Carry on without understanding that the city of Celaya, along with the state of Guanajuato belongs to Lord Mencho.

Sincerely,

CJNG

Grupo Elite

    1. Cjng csrl cds cdj etc all cartels are skum. They all do shit that harm the innocent when it benefits them. Look at ovidios release, brokered because they kidnapped the families of military members and threatened to kill them. You think they woulsve done it? Bet ur ass they would. Even just kidnaping them was garbage. Cjng did similiar when Mencho was Captured in 2012. The then Govenor ordered his release before anyone found out. (The picture where Mencho looks like half asleep was taken by the military when they captured him. Not exactly sure why they do it i can say a few but they also did it with ovidio. Guessing to have ror military intel, proof of capture, compare to othe photos etc)
Well yeah mencho was released and the mess they made was garbage

  3. What are we to believe? Everyone (cartels) are claiming injustices towards citizens are not being executed by their hands. Moreover, prohibited from doing so?
