Fresnillo, Zacatecas: Metropol Policewoman Killed Along With A Male

The armed attack, in which a male person was also killed, was committed in the Arboledas neighborhood

Corporations of the three levels of government maintain an operation to try to locate those responsible for the aggression recorded this Monday against two people, including a woman identified as an active element of the Metropolitan Police (Metropol) in this municipality.

Around 8:30 p.m., gunfire was reported on Chabacanos Street in the Fresnillense colony Arboledas, which mobilized federal, state and municipal corporations.

Then, it was confirmed that it was an armed attack in which a woman and a man lost their lives; the female was part of the Municipal Police and was assigned to Metropol.

At the moment, ministerial proceedings are being carried out, as well as the collection of evidence that will be part of the investigation kit.

Police corporations, it was reported, maintain the deployment and actions to locate the alleged murderers.

The Peace and Security Building Table condemned the aggression and issued instructions not to stop searching for those responsible, as well as maintaining communication and giving all necessary support to the families of the victims.
