Irapuato, Guanajuato: State And Federal Troops Dismantle Grupo Elite Cell

Thirteen members of an organized crime group were arrested.

Due to the events that occurred in the early morning of Friday, September 10 of this year, in which a kidnapped male was released in a building in the San Roque neighborhood. 

Three males, one of them a teenager, were arrested. Joint operational intelligence actions were deployed in the area by state and federal troops.

A second building was secured in the same colony; upon entering, state and federal troops managed to arrest 10 people without firing a single shot, who were identified as:

• 32-year-old BENJAMIN "N", originally from the State of Colima.

• LOURDES "N" of 19 years old, originally from the State of Colima.

• 20-year-old OSCAR "N", originally from the State of Guanajuato.

• LUIS "N" 26, originally from the State of Jalisco.

• 33-year-old ABEL "N", originally from Nayarit State.

• CÉSAR "N" of 30 years old, originally from the State of Guanajuato.

• 19-year-old YAMILETH "N", originally from the State of Colima.

Three teenagers, two 15 years old and one 16 years old, originally from the State of Jalisco.

At the place of intervention, long firearms were secured with magazines, short firearms with supplied magazines, tactical equipment and other objects, which was packed and preserved for analysis in the laboratories by criminal experts who carried out the securing and processing of the scene.

It is worth mentioning that the three people arrested yesterday morning, added to the 10 people arrested in the afternoon, mentioned belonging to a criminal group in the State of Jalisco, the Grupo Elite.

  2. Gto may still have marros but its no denying that Menchi and CJNG own that plaza for the most part. Whats left of csrl is nothing less than a bunch of gangmembers who leaders dir biweekly
    For every CJNG killed at least a good 15 of marros ppl die. Its only because CJNG happend to buy that plaza and pay all the right ppl. Only the municipales in some areas are still loyal to Marro including yjat Elite team of cops that CJNG was accused of hunting one by one.
    They are slowly also flipping to cjng in the few Municipios they have left. Out of the 46 municipios in GTO CJNG controls 30 and CSRL maybe 5 and other cartles the orher 10 or so

    2. But unknown these criminals will be out soon after a bribe is paid to the fat judge. Yes having weapons for the exclusive use of the military would carry years in prison, but not for career criminals. Furthermore a citizen caught with this type of weapons with no bribe will serve more time.
