A founder of Los Zetas, Z12 is stabbed to death when arriving at Nuevo Laredo prison

Chivis Martinez Borderland Beat from Rojo Metro

Luís Reyes Enríquez, alias "El Rex" or "Zeta 12", founder of the ex-military group "Los Zetas", former armed wing of the Gulf Cartel, was stabbed to death in Nuevo Laredo prison this weekend, where he had just been detained as an arrest warrant was executed.

Reyes Enríquez, was under the direct orders of Osiel Cárdenas Guillén,

He had completed his sentence in the Federal Social Readaptation Center of Mihuatlán de Porfirio Díaz, in the state of Oaxaca.

When he was released he was again apprehended on charges filed in the state of Tamaulipas, and was transferred to the Nuevo Laredo prison, where he was  stabbed to death this weekend.

"El Rex", a member of the Special Forces Aeromobile Group that founded "Los Zetas" and was  close to  leader Heriberto Lazcano, was arrested in June 2007 in Atotonilco, Hidalgo state, but was released at the beginning of 2015, then,  again arrested  by elements of the Secretariat of the Navy in San Pedro, Nuevo León in August 2016.

And i’m not a narco scumbag, much less a pinche Zeta cumdumpster. Never have been, never will be. I’m someone who lots of people here would call a “good guy” even though i’ve done a lot of things that i’m ashamed of.

El mas loco and el chango got together and formed la familia michoacana and kicked ALL Zetas out of michoacan and killed many that were thinking they had a chance. Zetas never had a chance in michoacan pendejo. Stay hating Mr. Balls up your A$$ lmao

  5. How many of the original Zetas are still alive? Also, what happened to the ones who simply disappeared such as El Chuta and El Chocotorro?

    ReplyDelete

    1. Maybe they was smoked
As a threat to other ex Zetas and their plazaz while Lazcano was alive
      Idk

      Delete
    2. They skipped over and joined other cartels.

      Delete
    3. Either locked up forever or dead. I read that there are only 4 of the original members still alive and at large.

      Delete
    4. 12:28 that’s probably correct. Other Zeta leaders who hated Z40 and Z42 made a big deal of accusing them of killing original Zetas like Chispa in mantas. But nothing is said of Chuta or Erotico or other original Zetas who seem to have simply dropped off the face of the earth.

      Delete
    5. El Chuta was actually caught but el Chocotorro was never heard from so it may be possible that he's still alive just like all the others were until something was confirmed about them

      Delete
    6. BS aside one of them became a pastor. Not sure which of the originals Z

      Delete
    7. Erotico was killed a long time ago like one of the first

      Delete
    8. Chuta is still operating

      Delete
    9. 5:18 that was a long time ago and Chuta was rescued in a prison break back in 2009.
Chocotorro moved to Juarez around 2006.

  6. Could this be that government is cleaning house due to chapos and witnesses singing?
This publicity Mexico has been exposed to is not good for business.
Along with former cartel boss of the Beltran's who was recently deceased of a supposedly apparent heart attack.

Time will tell if Mexico's government will extradite any other key figures.

    4. I don’t think gob is cleaning. Why should they...you remember the movie get the gringo?!?
As the mx police officer tells to his us counterpart, we both are corrupt but in mx everyone knows it.
      That’s true, it’s internationally accepted.
And El rey is singing since a few years I would say, so it’s nothing new for the us.
Maybe just they fear some crazy leftist government turning everything up and down but when and how long went a mx politician to jail.
And PRI steal 40mio and the judge agreed to return 600.000 per year....that’s a lot of water flowing down the border.
