Juan Pistolas, Jefe de Sicarios for CJNG captured in Guadalajara

Translated by Otis B Fly-Wheel for Borderland Beat from a Milenio article

Subject Matter: Juan Pistolas, Juan Francisco N, CJNG
Recommendation: No prior subject matter knowledge required

Reporter: Ruben Mosso
Federal forces gave a big hit against the Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generacion when they captured the alleged head of sicarios of said criminal organization in Guadalajara in the metropolitan zone. Identified as Juan Francisco N, Juan Pistolas, he is responsible for the distribution of drugs and firearms for the cartel.

Omar Garcia Harfuck, from the Criminal Investigation Agency, affirmed that the detained probably trained in camps, people recruited for weapons handling training and operational tactics. Juan Francisco N probably enrolled people in the criminal service of the group, in order to keep the areas of Guadalajara and Tlajomulco de Zuniga under control, in the presence of antagonistic criminal group," the official said.

Along with him, Sergio Alan N was arrested, probably in charge of the defense of weapons and drugs in the service of the same criminal group and under the orders of Juan Francisco N. In a message to the media, Harfuch mentioned that the capture was made possible by the work carried out by the AIC, Marines and Federal Police personnel.

The detention of Juan Francisco N, Harfuch added, will significantly affects the distribution of drugs and weapons in the metropolitan area of Guadalajara, and the communications network of the criminal group for which he operated.

Sergio Alan N was located in a building in the Mezquitan colonia, where forces discovered 18 rifles including a Barret .50 cal, 13 handguns and 3 grenade launchers, and 3000 rounds of ammunition of various calibers, packages of marijuana, synthetic drug pills and methamphetamine.

The PGR filed an indictment against both men for their probable responsibility in crimes against health, and violation of the Federal law on firearms and explosives.

    1. Because Mencho is the new chapo as far as the US is concerned, he's public enemy no. 1 in chicago. We are providing resources to Mexico in order to capture him. They are also the biggest and fastest growing cartel making them everyone's top priority. I also think he fucked up when he killed those 2 SEIDO agents. Their organization is responsible for investigating organized crime for the attorney general, so they want him worse than ever. No one really knows why he kidnapped the two agents in the first place. My theory is revenge, his son menchito was released several times from prison by a judge. Only to have SEIDO agents re arrest him days later. Menchito was home free multiple times if it wasn't for SEIDO.

    5. They are at war with Cartel De Snitches (CDS) big mistake but either way they would have been ratted out by them to keep cds capos out of the radar like always. That was chapos and mayos trick to stay away from prison but chapo messed up meeting Kate

    6. The gringo perspective is funny to me. Since Carillo, Cochi Loco, now Mayo and many other in CDS; the strongest cartel, richest, most connected, and fastest transporting cartel is not in the news. CDS with their propaganda and control of politicians and media is what has gringos believing Mencho is this, that, and the new narco-Superman.
Here in Mexico nobody believes what media is written and politicians say and in fact we have been trained to believe opposite of all of this. While Mencho has heat on his workers and operational areas CDS is quietly moving metric tons every day across 4 major border crossings by truck and train, and through tunnels. They also independent buyers moving smaller loads by plane, cars, truck, and more 7 days a week and 365 days a year. If you want to understand you need to understand how the media and politicians target one group to support another.

    7. In Veracruz people blamed the zetas, the matazetas, the CJNG, and each other...
NOW WE KNOW IT WAS THE POLITICIANS, like fidel Herrera beltran and Javier "La Marrana" Duarte de Ochoa and their polesias directed by arturo Bermudez zurita, municiles, estatales, federales, all rotten greedy motherfakers straight from EPN's dens of thieves...
And that goes for all of Mexico governed by those mophakas.

    1. Itzli on the Forum posted a link to El Universal where it’s stated that Juan Pistolas worked under the orders of Juan Carlos González (el 3 o el Moreno), who’s a compadre of Mencho. So it appears they are working their way up the chain.

  5. He had an arsenal but got caught slipping, somebody already took his spot. Everything's back to normal, sad but true.. They don't want to stop any cartel, if they did they would do it like Calderon in Michoacan when they hunted the familia michoacana. They been trying to stop the zetas for a long time so they say but they are still active lol

    1. La Familia is still active menso. Calderon didn't stop shit and by the way it was La Familia who fucked up Zetas when no other cartel could. All these narcos do is regroup after one falls and then change their name.

      Delete
    2. La familia is not big in Michoacan, that's where it started but from it came la nueva familia and CT. Bit even if they catch Mencho, cjng is a big cartel and will just split or continue with a different capo to lead

      Delete
    3. @2:04 That's what you think La familia still running it from where ever the original founding members are yet to be caught up because they know how to remain silent and know how to act. Mejor ¡come y calla!

  19. This smells of an American led operation to capture Mencho... shake the tree and cut it branch by branch until you get to the root. They did the Same thing to Chapo until they knew it was time to go in and would put as few lives at risk as possible. They don’t want another Arturo Beltran style shootout and massacre.
