Shootout in downtown Nuevo Laredo leaves 6 dead including a Mexican soldier.

Six people died, including a soldier, after a clash between suspected gunmen and soldiers, who rescued a kidnapped woman from the gunmen.

The Tamaulipas Coordination Group (GCT) said in a statement that the attack that occurred Saturday, October 10, five members of a criminal group were killed, while a soldier died in the line of duty.

He said the woman was admitted to a hospital, where her health was reported serious but stable.

The incident occurred at the 5 de Febrero and Tamaulipas streets, a point where the military managed to surround the criminals who were traveling in a 2007 golden Lincoln Navigator, the criminals were cornered after a chase through several streets of this border town .

The police established that the criminals who were killed, have not yet been identified, but they were between 20 to 30 years old.

The state agency indicates that by being cornered by the military, the criminals collided with three parked vehicles and from inside the truck the criminals attacked the military personnel.

The military repel the aggression, and shot dead five criminals and manage to rescued a woman from inside the Lincoln who was tied up and had injuries and merited hospitalization.

The woman told the military she had been kidnapped since Wednesday October 7, and not knowing where the criminals will be taking her when the conflict arose.

As a result of the operation, an element of the Secretariat of National Defense was wounded and later died while receiving medical attention at a hospital.

Five assault rifles, magazines, cartridges and other objects were secured at the crime scene, in addition to the Lincoln Navigator, which were taken to the Public Prosecutor's Office for investigation.

    12. Thank you for that comment 6:05. As the originator of the comment, I was not referring to mexican americans. And I wasn't attacking paisas in general. I was more offended by paisas hating on USA who wouldn't be shit if it wasn't for the opportunities they were given here in the USA. It reeks of un gratefulness and hypocrisy, both traits which I despise in people. And the paisas that come to mind think they're the shit for the shit they acquired here when they were shoeshine boys there. Fuk em...I'm done and moving onto another topic....said my piece.

Mexico is a hellhole because the politicians are corrupt descaradamente, the poor people suffer because their government don't give a shit about them and exploit them. So for an hombre to come here, feel safe, and have an opportunity to lift his family up, then turn around and talk shit about the country is hypocritical. they can cheer for Mexico during games without bashing the US. whats so hard to understand about hating hypocrites for their hating...this would apply to anyone from any country. you want proof your head is up your ass? when i mention the USA you putos assume i'm white or defending them. The USA is not a race, its a nation of races....now go apply for some grants and student loans to help you develop critical thinking skills. i think you guys are jealous of others success and that's why you hate on this country...petty ass niggas

Bad arguments. Legalizing drugs will not do away with the market...duh, it would just make it legal. It will stem violence but of course not completely eradicate it.

      Delete
    3. Exactly. They aren't fighting over drugs anyway. They're fighting over the personal grievances of big bosses & territory (which belongs to all the people/public spaces). They're diversified. Extortion, blackmail, human trafficking, kidnapping, sex slavery, drugs, some claim murder for organ trafficking, petroleum theft, etc.

Legalizing narcotics isn't going to make these crazy jodidos go out and get jobs at a car dealership or lime orchards. After decades of free reign to reek havoc, that's all they know how to do. Only a few actually know how to run a profitable business while the majority are uneducated. They'll simply fill losses by more kidnapping and raising extortion/piso rates.

Oil is legal. Think about it.

They would pull up to the surf camp, make a showing, look around a little, let us pose for pictures holding their guns. They were just young men, kids really, doing their duty for the most part, as there is compulsory service required in Mexico. So based on my experience with them, I gave respect and got the same. Problems with authorities were concentrated around the border and traffic cops around urban areas looking to take a bite outta my wallet. So RIP to the solider, he probably was just doing his job.

  32. I am glad they killed those 5. I do not have anything against Mexicans to be honest. When I grew up it was different. A american family would pay to bring over a man or a man and woman (hubby & wife). Hell my dad employed a lot of them and taught them a real craft of painting. Most may think you just need some paint and roller. But this is like Roger Clemens home or Frank Beard (ZZTop's Drummer) only one who has no beard. They were like family. And dad treated them better than us when we worked for him during summers. But if they ever legalized killing of the backpackers or cartel members I would be signing up as long as there is pay. Not going to do it for free and I would like ammo and maybe some hardware. Messed up part is I have held a top secret clearance but I could not obtain a silencer permit..I would do the same for ISIS or any worthless MF'ers. But I enjoy hunting and to hunt other humans is a real rush because you could be out smarted and die very quickly if not prepared. And that high I cannot get enough of, no skydiving gets me close to it. I guess it is something that will wear off down the road. Because after 5 years with a shrink I just want to kill the bitch lol..

  34. we need somebody who knows what's going on in nuevo laredo.i heard that there have been confrontations between two different groups, one of them being nectar zetas obviously, but the other group remains unknown until now. i read somewhere just recently that the zetas viejos from victoria have regrouped and have been whacking zetas who were sent from nvo laredo. they have been making incursions to tampico and hidalgo to kill specific golfos as well.
where's guero de laredo? im sure he knows more about what's going on there.

  36. Amazing how justice is carried out in Mexico. The Feds seem to kill rather take to trial. Which may not be a bad thing in Mexico.
