35 Zetas executed in Boca del Rio, Veracruz

The bodies of 23 male and 12 female murder victims were abandoned in front of the Plaza Americas commercial area this afternoon in Boca del Rio, a suburb of Veracruz.

The bodies were on board and scattered behind 2 flatbed pickups on Manuel Avila Camacho boulevard that were left at the scene during rush hour traffic at approximately 5:00pm.

Hundreds of horrified motorists and onlookers witnessed as gunmen on board several pickups escorted the vehicles to the site where they hung a banner, threw some of the bodies to the roadway then left.

Army units and state police arrived later to secure the scene.

According to witnesses the banner read:
esto les va apasar a todos los Zetamierdas que sigan en veracruz la plaza ya tiene nuevo dueño ....G.N aki yace el ferras y su corte real

This will happen to all the Zeta shit that stay in Veracruz, the plaza has a new owner...G.N. (Gente Nueva). Here is el ferras and his royal court

A source within the Veracruz Attorney General's office confirmed with El Universal news group that the the victims were Zetas and the executioners belonged to the Gulf Cartel.

The Veracruz Attorney General, Reynaldo Escobar Perez, announced this evening that most of the bodies had been identified and all had prior criminal records that included kidnapping, murder, drug trafficking and organized crime.

The bodies were bound and gagged and had been tortured. Some had bullet wounds to the head.

Initially, authorities reported that the dead were members of the Cartel de Jalisco Nueva Generacion (CJNG) and the killers were sicarios belonging to Los Zetas but this information was later revised.

Veracruz has been a Zeta stronghold since the administration of the previous PRI Governor, Fidel Herrera.

This year, the hold that Los Zetas have on Veracruz has been shaken by anti-Zeta Mexican Army operations and attacks by the rival Gulf and Sinaloa cartels.

In July a video appeared showing a heavily armed group of sicarios claiming to be members of the CJNG and calling themselves MataZetas (Zeta killers) whose mission was to clean Veracruz of Zetas.

There are unconfirmed reports that at least some of the inmates that escaped from Veracruz prisons this past Monday morning may be among the dead in Boca del Rio.

The person that is referred to in the banner at the site, "here is el Ferras and his royal court" may be Felipe Ferra Gomez, El Ferras, who was crowned "rey de carnaval", king of carnival, during 2009 Mardi Gras carnival festivities inside the Cereso prison where he was incarcerated.

  6. dam! 35 dead, i dont know what kind of math everyone else is using but i dont think the zetas are winning anything. every time zetas come out on the news is because they are dead or captured, and they capture them by the dozens. so will someone please tell me how are they winning or advancing.

  7. So who did the killing? GN or CDG? Why would CDG be the killers but announce GN is the new boss in town? Im a little confused. But either way. Im glad to see 35 zetas were tortured and killed. And this little display? What a show of power! 2 flat bed trucks full of dead Z's. Wow. I dont know if I've ever seen this many dead narcos all at once

  8. Can someone tell me why so many females? Halcones? Or girlfriends?

  9. What a twist! Theses fools were liberated in order to execute them. I think I've heard that NG are Chapo's people -- carried out a very bold operation. I'm not going to cheer the Nueva Gente on but 35 less Zetas is good for Veracruz, period.

  10. Are you all seriously that stupid, or just ignorant? All cartels are the same. Zetas, GN, CDG = same pieces of worthless humanity. Ajulio, you're either a moron or member of a rival cartel if you're cheering the death of Zetas. The Zetas suited the CDG just fine when they were working for them. A golfo will just as soon kill you or extort you if it means financial gain.
This says alot about zeta recruitment quality. How could they not notice these matazetas in their home turf? How could they capture so many without them putting up a fight? It seems that the other cartels are training their sicarios better.

  11. It's like when they busted out "la pelirroja" in monterrey she thought she was getting "rescued" but instead she got hung from a bridge.

because they were spoonfed fresh from 3 prisons.
the dead zeta you see scattered about are recruited to become the dead

  13. September 21, 2011 12:25 AM You are totally right none of this people are better than the other.

I'm sorry to say this but I can not deny I feel satisfaction when criminals like the Zetas are killed, El Ferras as far as I know was not a Zeta he was convicted of killing someone according to him in self defense. He apparently was one of the persons who escape from jail because he was supposed to be serving a 30 year sentence.

  14. Holy shit the mata zetas/Gente nueva are keeping their word. they are cleaning the plazas. keep up the good work.

  15. Anyone who is not convinced that the worst is yet to come is clearly got cement for brains.

Zetas have grown exponentially since their inception and have way more pawns to play with, they are invading the west.

CDS n allies operate with core groups and even it out to an extent with support from the government forces, they are invading the east.

The thing that is providing the illusion that finally the Zetas will be eliminated is called media manipulation, look it up and see how it is applied in one of the first cases of conflict. So in 2008 when GN attacked Chihuahua State with a variety of perfectly timed high profile attacks people were fed the same bullshit that it would be soon before the demise of La Linea then 1 year turned into 2 turned into 3 turned into 4 now since some have announced La Lineas demise but there is practically no peaces in the streets of Chihuahua and Cd Juarez and the violence has recently escalated in the rural areas. So you tell me, if this MataZeta operation just started today what makes you expect that this blood bath will end tommorow or next week or next year or by the end of Caderon's term or by the time the new president takes office?

As long as their is no alternative for a complete generation youngsters the risk of dying seems to be a better option than waiting for more other opportunities and the Zetas have clearly proven to be effective in recruiting bodies to provide a human front before mid and major operational leaders are affected. It would be more of a pity if the Mexican government is dependng on this model to mitigate the overwhleming unemployment rate and use it as a means to and end for stabilizing the economy while simultaneously reducing overpopulation. Hey less people to worry about stressing resources that could be better used in exportation, less job creation to think about in this ultra competitive world were even Mexican labor costs are premium in light of the ridiculously low labor costs that Asia is offering, less strain on a pathetic educational system since thousands upon thousands of kids and young adults are being eliminated so that the embarrasment of them having to recieve an education in dilapidated buildings will not haunt educational institutions, etc, etc, etc.....meanwhile college kids all across America can score some brick weed at 1/4 the cost of expensive fine grade kind bud, or score some coke to last all night partying, great.

  19. To the one that said all Cartels are the same, you are completely wrong.. All Cartels are the bad, but not the same... When you have one that seeks and kills innocents, Casino Massacre, The Falcon Lake incident, the immigrant massacres, shooting ICE agents, etc... This world is not black and white, its grey with difference shades. The Z are the closest thing you can find on the black area....

  20. yayyyyy 35 Zeta's in hell!!! I wonder what went through their heads as they were being tortured and plastic was layed around them in preperation for their execution. I bet they had a flashback of all the evil they themselves did towards others and probably innocent people and I bet they did not find it fun when it was happening TO them!

    ReplyDelete
  21. @5:46
"El ferras" from the video is the same ferras that was found dead in the massacre.
If u saw the video, he was crown the king of the carnival and was with his "corte real". That was what the narco message said "el farras y su corte real" making fun of him!!
Word is the zetas recruited him in prison, he was well known and was one of the inmates that just had escaped from prison.

  22. September 21, 2011 5:46 AM Think about it the message left with the dead said ( This will happen to all the Zeta shit that stay in Veracruz, the plaza has a new owner...G.N. (Gente Nueva). Here is el ferras and his royal court )

Felipe Ferra Gomez, El Ferras, was crowned "rey de carnaval", king of carnival, during 2009 el ferras and his royal court.

People escaped from prison, el Ferras might be one of them.

  23. Now we need 100 Gente Nueva bodies! Then 200 more Zetas, then 400 Gente Nueva! =D Keep it up guys!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Damn 35 Zetas dumped on a busy street by " Gente Nueva " which means Chapos fraction supported by locals. From what I know Veracruz since the CDG and Z split was a stronghold for the Z's. They spread like roaches there terrorizing locals. This is a big statement and a declaration of war for Z's in Veracruz. Chapo and his locals (Veracruzanos most likely CDG supportors) want this plaza and from the scene show above they are willing to kill by the bulk! I don't condone them for doing it but the Z's have only brought in on themselves. And for the one saying why so many women, well let's not play the feminine card anymore cause women are just as ruthless as men in cartels. They play a role as halcones, sicarias, cell leaders, torturers etc.. They would easily slit your or my throat without any remorse. If they were Z's they assumed the consequences of that dirty business. It's going to get very interesting in Veracruz for sure and the war has been declared in another state. Man it's a never ending deal right now in Mexico.

  25. wtf @ "The Veracruz Attorney General, Reynaldo Escobar Perez, announced this evening that most of the bodies had been identified and all had prior criminal records that included kidnapping, murder, drug trafficking and organized crime."

So murderers, kidnappers and organized crime a$$holes run free? Obviously this isn't "new information" as it is commonplace. No wonder there are so many violent crimes taking place. The Mexican Authorities needs to hold themselves accountable.

  26. My children will never get to see the country of their heritage. I will never allow them to drive on a public road knowing that there is a chance to see mutilation and violence at this level. Nor will I ever go there to fish or on vacation, ever again. As good as it is to know that there is 35 of these assholes gone at the same time, they didn't need to be paraded in front of kids and people who are just trying to make a living the honest way. There a many like me who have poured tons of money into Mexico for decades. My friends and I have taken wood and hardware to fix homes, collected books for schools, and even supplied tech schools with engines and other mechanical things to learn with. But I will never drive across that border again knowing shit like this can be in the middle of the road. By all means, run your drugs! But sadly the kidnaping, extortion, and human trafficing is the reality of the future of Mexico.

  30. IT SIMPLY A MOCKERY !!!!!!!!! NOT THE SAME FERRAS IF IT WAS MEXICAN NEWS CHANNEL WOULD HAVE HAD A FIELD DAY WITH THE STORY WHICH THEY HAVENT BECAUSE THEY GET THE HUMOR IN THE ACT ITS NOT THE SAME 1 !I KNOW THIS IS NO LAUGHING MATTER BUT WHAT THE RESPONSIBLES ARE TRYING 2 SAY IS THAT THE ZETAZ ARE NOTHING MORE THAN A BUNCH OF CLOWNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!DAMN!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  31. The comments enthusiastic about the killing are pretty depraved, seriously?

Assuming, that the information is correct, do you think they went with GN for PR purposes? And this is a coalition of CDG/CDS/CJNG? or is Chapo just making his play for Veracruz, on his own? I'd say the former is more likely.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Veracruz really heated up. The governer supposedly sold la plaza to cds. Which explain why gente nueva and cdjng are there. Seems like there's always killings and the gun battles. And the marines dismanteled the communication stations for the zetas. Seems to me there really trying to eraticate them

  33. Wtf! Are cartels good in this case? I'm scared at times to even go back to my own country.

  34. Veracruz authorities keep flip flopping back and forth in statements..

The newest according to El Reforma: 18/35 bodies have been identified..15/18 had criminal records. Linking deaths to street dealer rivalry.http://www.reforma.com/nacional/articulo/626/1250007/

Cause of death of all but one: Trauma and/or suffocation/asphyxiation..One was shot.Bodies showed signs of torture.

Time of death: estimated within hours of being dumped.

Of the 18 identified, none of them are escaped prisoners.

One Boca del Rio police officer identified.

  36. whats funny is that most of those in the mata zetas video have already been executed also.

Nothing changes Zetas continue to dominate that its a disgrace to these clowns that call themselves United Cartels, so many unified and yet they still cant destroy Z's.

  37. This is the same kind of sectarian shit that went on in Iraq 5+ years ago after the USA invaded. The only difference is that it's over a product (drugs) vs. religion. As happened there, the violence is only going to subside once they all end up killing each other off.

Both GN and CDJNG are cells of cartel de Sinaloa, they are most likely working closely together. In the narco banner left at the scene it tells Veracruz citizens to no longer pay any quotas.

  41. Its 40 bodies and not 35, 5 were women... one was 15 years old and another was 17... Only 1 was shot the rest were strangled or killed by blunt force trauma...

Duarte is a criminal working with the sicario groups that are hunting the Zetas and the Mexican government is also turning a blind eye, it will be another decision in the long, long line of many that will come back to haunt them. The end does not always justify the means and never do two wrongs make a right... Mexico is in deep, deep shit being desensitized to these types of massacres, they are killing like its a sporting event, instead of hunting animals for food they are hunting humans and the evil winds blowing across Mexico will last for decades and the country has been ruined and will never be the same...

The world is watching and Mexico looks like a bunch of uncivilized animals that just can not seem to get it... Mexico has a blood soaked history and not much has changed since the days of rolling heads down pyramid steps and human sacrifices...

The reality is Mexico has had a criminal government for decades working hand in hand with the criminal cartels and they are just as guilty, there are not enough prisons on the planet to house all the people in Mexico that should be locked up for the rest of their lives... More and more I am leaning towards an invasion by the U.S. armed forces as I see Mexico as a threat to the national security of America...

  43. I am getting the feel that this is Chapo making a move on the plaza with a mid range goal of taking CDG out a little later. It is his style, snitching and back stabbing, with big publicized hits, the backing out and let the military do it for him. CDG had better look hard at their partner, Chapo's teacher told me "he doesn't play well with others." He could not take the Juarez corridor and this one looks more vulnerable because of the long Zeta/CDG war. Smells like the Calderon Cartel to me.

There sure isn't much blood if any in those photos! All those promoting slaughter, remember, many of those front line soldier can be forced to do what they do, or, it is the "ONLY" employment they can find.

    @2:59 AM...good stuff.

  48. It's sad to think that Mexico is being practically run by organized crime. it's disgusting to hear that the police, the same people who are supposed to protect citizens and cut down crime, are in on all this bull crap. Deep down inside of me it makes me happy that the Zetas are being exterminated but then again it gives other gangs the chance to turn into the same thing. ugh this is so sad, and infuriating.
