Sicarios from the Massacre at Las Torres Bar in Cd. Juárez Caught
The five "sicarios," gunmen presumed tohave participated in the massacre at the bar "Las Torres" last Thursday; where seven women and one man died, are now under arrest.
One suspect Roberto Ceballos Martínez, 22, alias "El Robert" was arrested the night of the shooting inside the bar when he tried to go unnoticed after the shooting.
The Federal Police Intelligence Center relayed that this subject had a criminal past involving past drug crimes, and could be linked to the gang known as “Artistas Asesinos” or Assassin Artists, which operates in Cd. Juárez.
The suspects were arrested when federal agents came under gunfire as they were answering a suspicious activity call at a home in the subdivision called"Fraccionamiento Real."
After the confrontation they were able to arrest Erick Fierro Santos, 23, who was wounded and had to be taken to a nearby hospital.
Also apprehended were Brayan Alexis, 16, and Fernando Pérez Terrazas N., 20, in possession of an AK-47. Fernando Perez has prior convictions for car theft.
Fernando Pérez confessed that the reason they were at this home was to kidnap an alleged extortionist known as "The Panther." The intended victim was also a member of a rival group and was killed at the scene.
The investigation also led them to the local Red Cross where Ivan Parra Barrios, 23, was being treated for a gunshot wound, and where he was also placed under arrest.
They were able to confiscatean AK-47 rifle, two rifle magazines for 7.62 x 39 mm rounds, 96 rounds of ammunition for an AK-47, a 9 mm pistol, two mobile phones, a two way radio and a Mitsubishi Montero Sport, with license plates EBV-8060 registered in the state of Chihuahua.
The State Attorney's offfice have also identified all of the victims from Thursday's massacre as Sarai Martinez Soto, 21,Dozal Maria Manuela Silva, 35,Alba Liliana Favela Favela, 18,Anabel Medina Márquez, 31,Yadira Dominguez Hernandez, 20,Chavarria Alejandro Saldana, 25, Alondra Rodriguez Ramirez, 26, and José Eduardo Arevalo Trevino, 20 years old.
