Luis Río Colorado, Sonora.- According to unofficial information, the author of the murder of journalist Santiago Barroso was arrested by elements of the Ministerial Agency.

This alleged killer was identified as Omar 'N'  and it is mentioned that he is a union worker of the Municipality and that he was commissioned to the Héctor Chávez Fontes Cultural Center.

It has also transpired in the line of investigation that the murder could be a crime of passion,  because Santiago Barroso was having an  extramarital affair with his murderer's wife.

Veracruz: The war against cartels; CJNG taking the most hits

Xalapa, Ver. - Of seven organized crime groups that fight "the plaza" in Veracruz, the Jalisco Cartel Nueva Generación (CJNG) has been the most battered in the first three months of the Cuitláhuac García Jiménez administration.

According to the analysis of 597 official communications, the group founded by Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, alias "El Mencho", has suffered major arrests, property assurances and abatment in 12 municipalities where this cell was based from the government of the PRI, Javier Duarte.

The state leader Cuitláhuac García has recognized before senators and media the presence of at least six cartels in the entity: CJNG, Los Zetas, Zetas Old School, Sangre Nueva Zeta, 35 Z, Cartel del Golfo and Grupo Sombra.

It was 5:15 in the morning the driver of the public passenger transport unit of the Zitlantepec line , covered his route on the Mexico-Pachuca highway , and sent a voice message on his cell phone, when two people boarded the unit.

In the images captured by the transport security camera it is observed  subjects indicate to the passengers that they have a grenade and that it is not against them nor is it an assault, they only question the driver because they have not paid.

When the bodies of three lifeless people were found with bullet wounds inside a vehicle in Guaymas, Sonora, the State Attorney General's Office informed that one of the victims has already been identified.

It was at 00:40 yesterday, when the municipal and state authorities found a gray Dodge Attitude, model 2017, where were the remains of Christopher Miguel N , 22 years old and the bodies of two more men.

Official data reveal that Christopher N , is originally from Hermosillo, who apparently was missing since March 15, until he was found in San Carlos Nuevo Guaymas at kilometer 1 + 800 of Boulevard Manlio Fabio Beltrones.

The death of the official identified as Patricia Butrón, was confirmed by official sources, who belonged to the Anti-kidnapping area.

The facts would have arisen near the 8:00 hours in a fractionation of that city of Tamaulipas.

In December of last year, Judge Abelardo Ibarra Torres and Public Prosecutor, Dolores Érika Granados, were assassinated after an attack while traveling in a vehicle in Ciudad Victoria.

Authorities of Tamaulipas informed that an investigation folder was opened to clarify the facts about the murder of the agent.

Tijuana: Report the kidnappings of son and nephew of Chuy Labra

Allegedly the son and nephew of Jesus Labra Aviles who was the adviser and main financial operator of the Cartel Arellano Felix in the 80s,  were abducted Wednesday afternoon,  in the vicinity of the Centro Caliente Agua Caliente, in Tijuana .

Information obtained by ZETA states that around 17:34 hours a "levantón" was reported on the Sanchez Taboada boulevard in front of the Lázaro Cárdenas Federal High School, to the shock of students, passers-by and motorists.

Witnesses said that a white Suburban-type vehicle with tinted windows and several men, some with guns, dressed in denim trousers, black jackets and with the letters "PEP" in yellow, arrived at the site and took the two subjects who exited a pick-up truck, gray color, which was abandoned on the site. According to the documentation, the registration is named as Jesús Labra.
