Los Angeles federal agents led a global operation targeting of the India-based Bishnoi Gang, known for extortion, drug trafficking and the assassination of Indian political figures, industrialists, actors and musicians in the US, Canada and India.

The raids Tuesday that saw the arrest of at least 11 California and over a dozen more across the US, Canada and Europe.

“They control and operate all the Hispanic street gangs out in the neighborhoods,” he added. Federal agents working with local police arrested 43 suspects in all, confiscated firearms and seized illegal drugs, conducting 30 raids mostly in Santa Ana, Anaheim, Lake Elsinore and Lakewood, California.

California Fugitive Killer Cesar Hernandez Caught in Tijuana

A multi-agency manhunt led to the arrest Thursday night of an escaped California inmate wanted in the killing of the Tijuana chief of a state police unit that searches for foreign fugitives in Mexico, Baja California prosecutors said.

César Moisés Hernández, 35, who had been on the run since December when he first escaped from correctional custody in Central California, was located Thursday by Mexican law enforcement in the Lomas de Matamoros neighborhood in eastern Tijuana. Further details about the arrest were not immediately available.

A law enforcement officer was killed in an apparent shootout involving escaped California inmate Cesar Moises Hernandez.

The incident occurred during an joint Mexican-US operation to arrest Hernandez near Tijuana, where Commander Abigail Reyes of the FESC was shot and killed. He had barricaded himself inside a home before walking out, slipping past authorities.

Hernandez managed to escape from the scene by running out and disguised himself as a worker, and his whereabouts remain unknown.

Their transfer to federal custody only allowed for an expansion into controlling gang taxes and drug smuggling into the federal Metropolitan Detention Center in LA. They were also responsible for the murder of a federal inmate at the MDC in downtown Los Angeles in June 2020...over a drug debt.

Feds Takedown Sinaloa Cartel Network in Imperial Valley, California. US Border Patrol Agent Arrested for Trafficking Meth

14 indictments were unsealed this week charging 47 alleged members of an Imperial Valley, California-based, Sinaloa Cartel linked fentanyl and methamphetamine distribution network with drug trafficking, firearms, and money laundering offenses. The 6-year long operation, dubbed "Operation Valley," has led to 36 arrests so far.

This investigation also resulted in the arrest of US Border Patrol Agent Alexander Grindley for trafficking methamphetamine while employed at the CBP.

According to the 14 indictments and details outlined in the search warrants, the defendants belong to various drug trafficking organizations that were part of an extensive network supplying areas in and outside of Imperial County. 52 firearms including ghost guns, and other gun parts were also seized.
