Horacio “N”, brother of Omar Félix Loaiza, “El Pelón de Sonoyta”, was arrested on Thursday along with four other people inside a hotel located on José María Morelos street in Culiacán.

According to the arrest records, the arrest took place at 4:10 p.m. on 1278 Lago de Cuitzeo Street, in the Las Quintas neighborhood.

The Security Cabinet reported that Horacio “N” was his brother's financial operator and was in charge of paying payrolls in Culiacán and Sonora, as well as handling orders.

After the capture of Pelón or 8, identified as the leader of Los Pelones, on November 14, they carried out intelligence and investigation work and confirmed that Horacio “N” was using the same addresses as his brother for shelter, so they carried out prevention patrols and located five men, among them Horacio, apparently armed on José María Morelos street to the north, who fled and entered a hotel, where they were caught and arrested.

After searching them, they were found to have three long arms, including a Barret 50 caliber, a backpack with 226 useful cartridges for long arms, two short arms and several bags with 250 grams of fentanyl pills.

“For the above, the men of 33, 34, 37 and two of 39 years of age were detained..., and along with what was seized, they were presented before the agent of the corresponding Public Ministry, who will define their legal situation and integrate the investigation folder of the case.”
