Nearly a month after exodus, Mier refugee shelter closes

By JARED TAYLOR, The Monitor

Officials have closed a refugee shelter set up in Miguel Alemán, Tamps., as displaced residents of nearby Ciudad Mier made their way back to their homes amid a protective surge of military force.

Mier, once a town of about 6,500 across the border from western Starr County, gained infamy last month when several hundred residents vacated, seeking shelter at the Lions Club in Miguel Alemán.

The exodus came after members of the Zetas, the Gulf Cartel’s allies-turned-rival, reportedly ordered residents out of Mier under the threat of execution.

“It was a very difficult situation,” Mayor Servando Lopez Moreno of Miguel Alemán said in a telephone interview.

The shelter closed Friday after remaining open for nearly a month, Lopez said.

The mass departure gave Ciudad Mier— designated a “Pueblo Mágico” by Mexico’s Tourism Ministry for its significant historical and cultural value — international notoriety as an overnight ghost town. But residents from Mier have said most of the townsfolk able to cross into the U.S. did so months ago, while others with relatives in other cities had already fled as well.

Mexico defense officials deployed 3,000 soldiers, marines and federal police to Mier and other northern Tamaulipas border towns west of Reynosa.

“There’s a lot of security now,” Lopez said.

He said a meeting with local, state and federal officials is set for this week regarding security in Mexico border towns.

“There are many soldiers here now, but we don’t know if it is permanent or transient,” the mayor said. “We know they are here, but we don’t know if they will stay.”

No one at Mier’s City Hall answered telephone calls Friday.

Refugees who spent nearly a month in Miguel Alemán received an outpouring of support from residents in Starr County, as well as from churches from across the Rio Grande Valley.

At least seven Valley Baptist churches — and others in Texas — pooled resources to collect items taken across to the Lions Club shelter.

The provisions included food, blankets, drinking water and diapers, said Jerry Johnson, interim director of the Rio Grande Valley Baptist Association. He noted that the relief effort was headed by Tomas Cantu, pastor at Primera Iglesia Bautista in Roma. Cantu declined to comment for this story.

“He has really brought it to our attention to the needs out there,” Johnson said. “Whatever is out there, we try to meet the needs of folks.”

14 year old "El Ponchis" arrested

by: Amanda Cassandra CBS NEWS

CUERNAVACA, Mexico (CBS/AP) A 14 year-old U.S. citizen suspected of being a hired hitman for a Mexican drug cartel was arrested today as he attempted to board a plane to travel back to the United States from Mexico.

Edgar Jimenez, nicknamed "El Ponchis" worked for the South Pacific Cartel since he was 11, according army officials who apprehended him.

Jimenez was captured with his 16-year -old sister who told reporters they planned to cross the border to San Diego, California to see their mother.

"I participated in four executions, but I did it drugged and under threat that if I didn't, they would kill me," the boy told reporters calmly when he was handed over to the federal prosecutor Friday morning, showing no remorse.

"El Ponchis" made grisly headlines in Mexico when reports of murders he allegedly committed surfaced.

The Mexican daily paper La Razon reported in November that he was allegedly paid $3,000 for each murder.

The attorney general for Morelos state said the two would turned over to state authorities, who handle crimes committed by minors in Mexico.

Beheaded and Castrated in Ciudad Altamirano

December 3, 2010, naked bodies of three decapitated and castrated men were thrown from a vehicle outside the offices of the newspaper “El Debate de los Calentanos”, just a few blocks away from PRI’s very own mayor, Juanchi Gustavo Adolfo Quiñones.

Along with the bodies, a message was left in green paper, “This is going to happen to all those who support La Familia Michoacana”. For god sakes, after so many times of reading the same shit over and over, one can only conclude that this people are idiots with the mentalities of a 3rd grader, feeding into the endless cycle of you do, I do.

The bodies remain unidentified..

Woman Police Chief Slain in Mexico

by: Fox News

The woman leading the police department in the northern Mexican town of Meoqui was slain while driving to work, the Chihuahua state Attorney General's Office said Monday.

Hermila García was named last month as chief of the 90-strong police force in Meoqui, located 70 kilometers (43 miles) from Chihuahua city, the state capital.

García was found fatally shot in her car at a spot near her home about 10 kilometers (6 miles) from the town center, the AG's office said.

Authorities suspect the police chief, whose prior experience included working as an investigator for the federal AG's office, was murdered by gunmen working for drug traffickers or other organized crime elements.

Chihuahua, which borders Texas, has three other female police chiefs, including 20-year-old criminology student Marisol Valles, recently appointed the top law enforcement officer in Praxedis G. Guerrero.

Newest Police Chief in Mexican Drug Epicenter is Student, 20 Silvia Molina, the top administrative official of the police department in Ciudad Juárez, the state's largest city, was murdered in 2008.

Juárez, just across the Río Grande from El Paso, Texas, is Mexico's murder capital, with more than 2,700 homicides so far this year and roughly 8,000 slain since the beginning of 2008.

The carnage is blamed on a bitter turf battle between rival drug cartels, itself part of a wider conflict involving the gangs and the Mexican security forces that has claimed nearly 30,000 lives nationwide over the past four years.

Chihuahua has accounted for around a third of all the drug war fatalities.

Zetas responsible for Panama and Dominican Republic, Arrested

Eduardo Ramirez Valencia, alias “El Profe” was detained on Wednesday along with an accomplice in the state of Hidalgo, who allegedly handled drug smuggling operations from Panama and the Dominican Republic into the US.

Ramirez Valencia was detained with an accomplice Wednesday in Hidalgo state in an operation that fractured a major route for transporting drugs from those two countries to the US. It is said that Ramirez collaborated closely with Heriberto Lazcano, leader of the infamous Los Zetas cartel. Officials hope to further investigate the group and learn the routes that the group used to smuggle narcotics into the US, further crippling the cartel.

Ramirez is said to have been the one responsible for providing security for Heriberto Lazcano whenever he visited Hidalgo, his operating point.

Shootout in Matamoros, CDG vs Marines, 5 Arrested

November 29, shootout breaks out in Matamoros. The shootout took place in Avenida Sendero, in front of a Soriana store, sources state the shootout was between the CDG and the Marines. Reports started to flow slowly yesterday afternoon, but I was holding back on the story because the information was too inaccurate. Initial reports stated, 6 reported deaths and several Federal Agents killed.

People in the area also reported hearing explosions going off, possibly grenades. The criminal group were burning grasslands in the area as a strategy to prevent the visibility of the helicopters. Reports started pouring from all over the place, but nothing of which I felt reliable enough to base the coverage on.

Official statements released by the SSP...

SSP PRESS reported, five suspected criminals in possession of high-powered weapons, handguns and grenades where detained in a shootout that broke out infront of Soriana Superstore. These people moved on Federal Highway from Matamoros to Reynosa, Tamaulipas when taking notice of several elements of the Federal Police, launched an attack with firearms.

Agents responded to the fire and following a chase, the agents were able to intercept in the streets Constituyentes, between Septima y Segunda in Matamoros in a black pick up, plates 15TH538TX.

Drug trafficker who tried to buy DC-8 jet gets 30 years

By CHRIS HAWLEY; Associated Press

NEW YORK – A Colombian drug trafficker who prosecutors say tried to buy a DC-8 jetliner and other large aircraft to smuggle cocaine was sentenced to 30 years in prison on Tuesday by a federal judge in New York.

Francisco Gonzalez Uribe, 44, was arrested in 2009 during a sting in the Dominican Republic and pleaded guilty to trafficking charges in June.

"In the international drug trafficking underworld, Gonzalez Uribe was almost peerless," U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara said in a written statement.

Gonzalez Uribe smuggled tons of cocaine to Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Venezuela, where the drugs were then taken to the United States and Europe, prosecutors say. Some of the cocaine was hidden in phony tubes of Colgate toothpaste, according to court documents.

U.S. District Court Judge Lewis Kaplan sentenced Gonzalez Uribe to 30 years in prison, five years of probation and a $10,000 fine, despite letters from Gonzalez Uribe's relatives begging for a shorter sentence.

"He is a role model for me and my children and for all the people around him," wrote Margarita Gonzalez, Gonzalez Uribe's sister.

Gonzalez Uribe's lawyers had also asked for leniency, saying he was a "manager" of drug traffickers but not an "organizer" and that prosecutors had exaggerated the amount of cocaine involved.

Anti-drug agents said they had secretly recorded Gonzalez Uribe as he negotiated the purchase of a DC-8, a four-engine jetliner.

Law enforcement agencies have become increasingly concerned about smugglers who are buying large cargo aircraft to carry cocaine and heroin on nonstop flights from South America to Africa. From there the drugs are taken to Europe.

In July, a federal judge sentenced trafficker Jesus Eduardo Valencia-Arbalaez to 17 1/2 years in prison after he and accomplices bought a $2 million plane to run monthly flights between Venezuela and Guinea. The group claimed to have six aircraft already flying.

A separate group of traffickers based in Colombia and Liberia was arrested after one of their planes was seized in May with 2 tons of cocaine as it prepared to leave Venezuela, prosecutors say. Drug Enforcement Administration agents say the group was planning to fly shipments across the Atlantic twice a month.

Three other men from Sierra Leone face charges that they scouted out airstrips and arranged for a 4-ton flight of cocaine from South America in March.

In a fifth case filed in the federal court in Manhattan, U.S. prosecutors have accused Venezuelan Walid Makled-Garcia of operating airstrips for drug flights. They say Makled-Garcia was behind the DC-9 jetliner that landed in Mexico in 2006 with more than 12,300 pounds of cocaine on board.

Colombian authorities arrested Makled-Garcia in August. The United States has requested his extradition, but the Colombian government says it will hand him over to Venezuela to face drug charges there first.

"El Flaco", La Familia Michoacana, Arrested

Alfredo Landa and three other men were arrested in the area of Indeco in possession of firearms, cartridges and various objects, including 25 deeds of properties in the state.

Mexico, Nov 30 (EFE) .- The Mexican federal police arrested José Alfredo Landa Torres, alias "El Flaco", designated as an alleged cartel leader of the "Familia Michoacana in Morelia, capital of Michoacan state, southern Mexico.

The Public Security Secretariat (SSP) federal indicated in a statement that the capture of "El Flaco" came as a result of the operations against crime in Michoacán, where the detainee was responsible for his staff to coordinate, manage finances, corrupt officials and distribute drugs.

Landa said the agency assumed control of operations in Morelia after the capture of the former drug lords and Miguel Miranda Ortiz, alias "El Tyson" arrested last June and José Luis García Vázquez, alias "El Chilaca 'arrested in August.

The SSP said that Landa was arrested yesterday in Morelia, thanks to an investigation taking place on the said cartel.

According to the intelligence services of the department, "El Flaco" was arrested at age 17 in California (United States) for the crime of selling drugs, mostly marijuana and crack.

In 2007, "El Flaco", originally from the town of Arteaga, joined "La Familia Michoacana" on the recommendation of Servando Gómez, alias "La Tuta", one of the main leaders of that group.

The SSP added that after serving surveillance, the offender was assigned to the square of Morelia as head of informants (hawks) in the main entrances of the city under the command of "Tyson" and following the arrest of the operators the square, Landa was appointed chief in the plaza of Morelia.

The unit said the arrested confessed that the recent announcement by the cartel "La Familia Michoacana" to fall back in December of this year was to improve the group's image.

He explained that the strategy was to cause the band members themselves increase the number of ordinary crimes such as extortion, kidnapping, theft of property, and others to create a sense of "vacuum of authority and the need for their presence as a measure of crime control. "

As evidence of this objective, the police seized from "El Flaco" more than 25 deeds and documents collectible copies and originals in which the band wanted to "rob and extort money from their legitimate owners."

To date, the Federal Police have arrested in the last two years, seven capos of this organization responsible for the plaza of Morelia, including Arnoldo Medina Rueda, alias "La Minsa".

Together with the operator, the police arrested Sierra Campuzano Eden, alias "El Chino", 36, and second in command at the time, who was jailed in 1992 in El Paso (Texas, USA. UU.) For possession of firearms.

In the operation two people were arrested, officers seized an assault rifle AK-47, two pistols, vehicles, communication equipment and various documents.

Zeta Interrogation, Veronica Treviño Molina, Tampico

A woman who goes by the name Veronica Treviño Molina appears in a video where she claims to work for Los Zetas in Nuevo Laredo, taking orders from her direct boss “Comandante 50”. In the video she states she’s been working with the group for 8 or 9 years in Nuevo Laredo.

The women was picked up or “Levantada” in Tampico, where she had been stationed for 3 months. Tampico is currently controlled by the CDG while Nuevo Laredo is Zeta territory. She claims to have protection from several branches of the federal and municipal police in the area. The women claims her main objective in Tampico was to “Calentar la Plaza”, bring attention to the area where the CDG roam by killing taxi drivers, police, and innocent people.

“Calentar la Plaza” is a term that became popular this year, the term itself means “Heat up the Area”, which basically means anything bad that will bring attention to the area, anything like shootouts and murders, which ultimately is meant to cause conflicts between authorities/military and the current cartel in charge of the area.

The women speaks about opening up space by getting rid of the CDG so that a “Comandante Quique” or “El Taliban” can move into the area and change the territory from CDG to Zeta. She states that Comandante Quique is accompanied by Comandante Sinaloa 1, Comandante Sinaloa 2, Comandante Tango, Cholo, Rome, Elder, Topon, Canibal y Baldemonio. The plan was to have Comandante Quique move by this December.

The women also claims that part of the plan is to make the CDG come out in the open and make them clash with police they have fixed up in Tampico. She explains how they have a code in case they get stopped by any sort of police, the code is calling her comandante and stating “las ratas” or the rats.

An event is mentioned where they had been busted by the CDG in a house, apparently to what she explains, the CDG arrived accompanied by the Federal Police who arrested the group. After the CDG left, the police drove them to safety and released them.

She’s also asked about another occasion, no time or date is mentioned, but they do talk about the murdering of a family, they don’t mention if it happened in Tampico or Nuevo Laredo, but my guess is Tampico since she talks about the family being under protection by the CDG, and Nuevo Laredo is controlled by Zetas.

She explains how because of pressure from Com. Quique, to Com. Sinalo, they had to murder the family of a deserter named “Tampico”. She says that Tampico was a “traca” (person who reports and gathers Intel) for Lazcano, but later deserted the Zetas and joined with CDG. They never clearly state that he deserted Zetas for CDG, but it is mentioned that the family was innocent and that the CDG had it under protection, which means the same thing, why else would the CDG be protecting the family.

If anybody can recall this claim or has any information, feel free to contact me.

The video is full of claims, some seem to be real, others of course like in 90% of the videos, seem staged. Now let me make something very clear, when I say stage, I do not mean that the video is a fake, some people jump growling about "how can it be fake if the person was later found dead", I don’t mean it is fake, I just mean it was scripted. The person was captured, yes, but not everything the person says was said with free will, for example the ending part how the woman says “Yes but they killed an innocent family because they where being kept safe by the CDG”. How can somebody in their right mind really believe someone would say that without pressure from the opposing cartel!

Veronica Treviño Molina had already been captured back in 2008 and named the leader of "The Halcones" or lookouts. This was back when the Zetas where still allied with the CDG, so in the article she's tagged as CDG.

"Supposed leader of Halcones for CDG arrested, Aguascalientes"Federal Agents in Aguascalientes arrested Veronica Treviño Molina, leader of the lookout division for the CDG. She was in charge of reporting activities in the area.

SSP also reports that in the same operation they where able to nab second in command of that organization, Ruben Diaz Mendez.
The events took place on the corner of Los Conos and Las Cumbres when the two people named where spotted in a vehicle Nissan Sentra, Silver, model 2002.

This basically coveres all of the information of the video, I didn't think it was necessary to actually translate the video, since I basically covered all that was stated in this article, but just in case you guys do want it translated, i'll get around to it later, for now I provided you with the video, just incase some of you guys want to see it, thanks for reading.

El Arabe, Zeta Leader of Tabasco Killed

In an attempt to capture, state police killed Gabriel Garcia Carballo alias "El Arabe", leader of Los Zetas in Tabasco, and one of his gunmen who's name remains unknown.

In the chase that broke into three different shootouts, there were 4 men captured. Arturo Chapayo de Dios, David Sanchez Almeida, Didier Saul Hernandez Alvarez 'El Pocahontas' who was reportedly held third in command and Juan Carlos Rodriguez who was injured during the gun fight and is currently hospitalized.

The operation took place yesterday, following an investigation, state police located several members of the criminal group Los Zetas, after being noted by the group, the suspects took off in what errupted in several shootouts throughout Tacotalpa.

Just last October, Arabe's pedecessor Seique Hogaza 'Comandante Sierra' was captured in Palenque, Chiapas after an operation that included both state and federal police. Arabe started his criminal career in Villahermosa, where he was recruited as a lookout, quickly working his way to lead lookout and eventually climbed up the rank of "Jefe de la Plaza".

Officers also confiscated: two R15s, 1 AK-47, 1 M-2 Caliber 30, several grenades and ammunition, along with several vehicles. Dodge Dakota, Nissan, Red Jetta Volkswagen and a Dodge Journey.

11 Zetas Killed, Tamaulipas

Wednesday 17th, 2010

A reported 11 members of the Los Zetas cartel were killed and 2 captured in a gun battle which took place on the afternoon of Wednesday after an anonymous caller gave a tip about armed men downtown off Boulevard Miguel Hidalgo.

Upon arriving in the area, the soldiers came under fire by heavy caliber weapons. When the battle ended the outcome, 2 gunmen, Carlos Ambrosio Gonzalez-Mosina and Oscar Salomon Rangel where injured and detained, while 11 others where killed, Sedena officials report.

The gun battle took place on the Mexican side of Falcon Dam in Nueva Ciudad Guerrero located just above Mier. Another recent incident which involved several soldiers killed and others captured took place in Mier just recently, could this be a continued retaliation by the soldiers?

The Zetas began attacking Cd. Mier again just hours after the Marines in Matamoros killed Tony Tormenta and Tyson. Citizens all over are left guessing in the dark, "How is Mexico fighting this war?" While some places in Mexico get overcrowded with the Mexican military, other places are neglected and when pictures and stories spill out, the government just denies it and assures people that everything is OK and the war against drugs is being won.

After the gun battle in Nueva Ciudad Guerrero, Mexican military reported seizing :

25.25 lbs of Marijuana
9 assault Riffles
4 handguns
1 grenade launcher
22 ammo clips

Zetas Capture Mexican Soldiers, Cd. Mier

By: Farrah Fazal
CIUDAD MIER, MEXICO - A new Mexican troop buildup in Mier has todo with five Mexican Army soldiers captured by the Zetas.

This is according to Gary J. Hale, the former Chief of intelligence for the Drug Enforcement Agency in Houston.

He says the Zetas didn't just capture those soldiers on Monday but they also killed four more soldiers. He says the Mexican military is going into Mier tonight partly as payback.

"For the Zetas to go to the point of attacking a military unit tells you they are dead set for that territory," said Hale.

The gun battles are more fiery and deadly in the little Mexican town of Mier just feet from the U.S. border. The Zetas are fighting the Gulf Cartel and the military is fighting them both.

"Four soldiers were killed and others were taken captive," he says.

Gary Hale says he is getting that information from sources on the ground in Mier.

He spent more than three decades in the intelligence community. He now owns a think tank called Grupo Sarvant in Houston.

Hale says three reasons will make the battle for Mier even more deadly in the coming days. The area is strategic because it's the gateway to the drug highway from Monterrey.

"Monterrey is a critical juncture you can access Eagle Pass, Brownsville, Matamoros, Reynosa, McAllen. You can access all of those citires," says Hale.

The cartels know the Rio Grande near Mier is their friend. Hale says neither the Gulf Cartel or the Zetas could end up controlling Mier or area all along the border from Falcon Dam to Camargo.

"All of that territory belonged to Sinaloa. It was upsurped by a long war in Nuevo Laredo," he says. "At the end of the day when the smoke clears, the Sinaloa Cartel could dominate the territory."

Hale says the Gulf Cartel fought for the Mier area of the border from 2003 to 2007, but this year the Gulf needed Sinaloa's help to fight off the Zetas. He says we may know as early as next week if the Zetas can hold off two enemies from the territory they are determined to control.

Hale is working on a report he'll release this weekend that will show exactly how the Gulf Cartel could take back the territory that once belonged to the Sinaloa Cartel and what it would mean for the bloody war along that border right now.

Message to Z-40; Mensaje Para Z-40

Warning: Graphic content, discretion is advised!
The Narco Messages have been around for a long time, or at least as long as I can remember. It started with simple messages, sentence or two getting to the point.

It later moved to Narco Mantas, long messages that where usually hung in highly populated areas. After that, it moved on to Narco Videos, and I'm sorry to keep repeating Narco all the time, I personally don't like it but there really is no other name for it.

When I first got a hold of this video I really questioned it, thinking perhaps it's a fake. After analyzing the video for a couple of hours and getting other peoples opinions on it, I came to the conclusion that it must be legit.

Couple of things that stood out.. First of all, the lighting in the room, it seems like they perfectly calibrated the lighting so that the only thing that you can see is the body. The camera man never goes out of focus, careful not to reveal anything that he's not supposed to.

At the very beginning of the video you can see that the man holding the spiral notebook is wearing a green striped hat with the initials USA. You also see that he is wearing something around his waist, perhaps a sweater? Now this doesn't seem to be your typical sicarios wardrobe.

The message reads...

Zeta Interrogation; Comandante R1

This is the newest video in the series of CDG interrogation videos. On the previous video I covered, the identity of the captors was unknown, until a lot of people started claiming that the man behind the voice in the video was none other than Comandante R1 (Major R1) who is a high ranking officer in the CDG cartel.

This man has been around for a long time and even has corridos to his name. First question in my mind on the previous video was, why if the captives claim that they gave in to the military forces, how did they end up in the hands of the CDG? Intriguing question if you ask me.

The voice behind the video is the same voice behind the previous video "The Sad Reality Of Los Zetas", but if that wasn't enough the second soldier from left to right seems to resemble the "Small Helmet Soldier" who appears in the previous video as well. The helmet he is using seems to be to small for his head, which makes it stand out. Well here for you guys once again, I provide you with the dialogue of the video translated in English.

Comandante R1
"Well, this time we do this for Mexico to see what the group "Zetas" are.
They stopped being a group of "Sicarios" and are now a group of terrorists.
Here you have some people that they use to harm the society. How?
By throwing grenades at the people, at the mayor's offices, and at women and children.
Their mission is to cause fear."

Letter; CDG to Tampico Citizens

Here is a letter that surfaced 1-2 weeks ago signed C.D.G. I was sitting on this letter for a while because of how it was written, but decided to post it after a conversation I had with a friend who told me "Ya dieron luz verde en Tamaulipas de matar Zetas otraves", They just gave the green light to kill Zetas in Tamaulipas again.

It was strange to hear that because I had not heard of any sort of treaty, but according to what I was told there had been attempts on restoring peace between the organizations, but apparently it was not working out so they called it off.

I had to change some of the wording in order for it to make sense, but here it is for those who want to read it.

Citizens of Tampico, don't be afraid, we only protect your wellbeing. We take care of the "Plaza". We are people who come prepared, we are not young men, we don't kill women, we respect them.

Citizens, don't be afraid, Don't listen to gossip, we don't attack people who are not involved in this. Don't be afraid, The Zetas want to scare you, the Marines are not coming for us. It is against the Zetas.

This weekend respect the curfew; today, tomorrow and the day after starting from 12am on Saturday and Sunday starting at 9pm don't go out. We have orders of defending this "Plaza" from all enemies. We are not responsible of where the gunfights may breakout.

"The Sad Reality Of Los Zetas"

Today a new video surfaced, video titled "La Triste Realidad de Los Zetas", or The Sad Reality of the Zetas. In the video, you can see 4 captive people wearing black shirts with a bold Z on it. Behind the captive "Zetas", we can observe 3 people wearing masks and a fourth one out of camera view who is conducting the interrogation.

The video is a big improvement from the other ones. In it, the person conducting the interrogation makes sure that we, the viewers, can clearly hear everything. Although this video is extremely suspicious, I'll debate that once you guys read the dialogue.

I got a lot of positive feedback on the videos, so after I post this, tomorrow I'll work on older videos for you guys, so you can perhaps get a better idea on what's happening.. Anyways, translated by yours truly, RiseMakaveli.. Here it is...

La Compañia Z; Message To The Citizens

A new email has surfaced, signed La Compañia Zetas. Below is my English translation, followed by the Original Unedited Message.

Beforehand, to whoever cares about this topic and wants to know the truth can keep on reading. This is an Official Communication send by La Compañia. We know that all the cities are angry with everything that is happening and are fed up of not seeing an end to this, but here is what is really happening.

They label us as Kidnappers, Extortioners, Murderers and more, but may I remind you all that before this all started, we where under the orders of the Cartel Del Golfo (C.D.G.) from whom we received our orders. Now that they declared war on us, they still want to blame us for burning houses, killing innocent people and more. As if they didn't do any of that, they claim they are this elegant, studied and good will people, so much that they rob clothing stores just to dress well.

They burn houses thinking that it will cause us to leave forever, they kill innocent people so that they can then blame it on us, so that the whole city will be against us, and they turn into the good ones. They put communications in different medias to try and cover the sun with a finger.

We don't need to be telling the Citizens to support us, much less recruit Jr. High students like they do. We are people who are prepared to fight and we don't need people who can't handle a weapon.

They declared war on us and now they can't see the end of it since they are situated in territories in which they can't move towards any side, that's why they need to form treaties with other Cartels to defend themselves. What they don't know is that their allies will end up killing them first.

I hope everything is clear about what the true reality is. Who recruits people who are not prepared, who murders innocent people to then blame us, who want to cause confusion in the city so that the citizens think that with them, all the Extortion, Murder and Kidnappings will end, who publishes thousands of Communications and pay big amounts of $$$$$ so that their videos are published.

We are who we are, we are aware of our actions and before we Act, we plan ahead. All we have left to say is, don't go out or leave your house if it is not necessary, and no matter what happens always try to take cover but keep in mind that we are trained individuals unlike them who don't know how to act in such a situation.
With this we are not asking you to support us or be putting people up. All we ask of you is not to cause us problems and let us work. At the end, the ones who will be victorious, will be the ones who have the most power and strategy to act complete his job. We are aware that we are losing some people, but they will lose everything. We can accomplish our objective without needing the help of the innocent people.

Silent Screams of the Unheard

By RiseMakaveli

Throughout this ferocious war on drugs, we have seen many crimes against humanity. There are so many people suffering that it is impossible to cover everything. Sometimes we as correspondents concentrate so much on the big stories, the big events we know that the public (you) would be interested in, that we sometimes forget to actually concentrate on the people who are actually suffering through this day by day nightmare, which is why I have decided to cover a certain individuals story.

This person contacted me desperately asking for help, and willing to share the story with this blog. I will keep the identity anonymous, but I was asked to publish the name of the person involved. I will translate this for you guys, and I know we try to make these postings with pictures and videos, but this story requires no pictures.

This is a long story guys, so bare with me. I will translate this story word per word, and try to make it as reader friendly as I can, since sometimes when you convert Spanish to English, it doesn’t completely make sense. (Unless your name is bugss, then you have amazing grammar skills).

I will post first, the story in english, then my comment, and at the bottom I will post the entire story as it was typed, just incase you guys want to read the original.

This is Her Story...

Well my boyfriend, Alberto Ramirez Barcenas, he was living in Miguel Aleman, Tamaulipas, and I live in Reynosa. Every Tuesday, he would come to Reynosa to visit me, but on Tuesday 2nd of march of 2010 I called him to tell him not to come on that day, he was to show up until the following day, Wednesday 3rd of March.

He later called me at around 3:39pm to let me know that he was ok, and that he would show up on Wednesday, after confirming he was coming, he wasn’t supposed to call me anymore, but on that same day, Tuesday 2nd of march of 2010, I received a call from his phone at 9:45pm, I thought it was odd of him to call, but I answered. I pick up my phone and say, “Hello”, but nobody answers, again I repeat, “Hello?”, but still nobody answered.

Interrogation Video; "Z43" Admits to Mirage Murders

A new video hit the Internet recently, in it we can see a man with his face covered and his hands tied behind his back.

The man says he is David Rivera Alvarez, codenamed "Z43"...
He is Second in Command of the "Plaza" in Tenosique, Tabasco.

"Z43" then goes on to claim responsibility for some atrocities that have happened in Tampico.

"No, no, aguantame, aguantame, se esta cargando." is the opening line to this video.

As the video starts, we are hit with this screen, the text on the back seems interesting but unreadable.. It appears to be some sort of list..

Numbered, and the only thing I could think of was a playlist.. But I'm not sure about that.. Some of the things I could make out were, Tik Tok RMD, 02 Ad Roman, William, 03 Ritmo, 04 Saltando.. I don't know if this could mean anything to anyone, but just thought I would name them.

In the screen that follows, we can see that there are 6 segments of videos.. None of the segments are shorter than 20 minutes.. Which means he was interrogated for more than 2 hours.

Not taking into consideration that the image shows there are 2 pages, meaning that there could have been more videos, probably even his execution...

OK, now let's get on to the actual video. In the next segment, I will show the dialogue of the video and try to translate for you guys.
