Brando Nazario, alias El Catrín, is the person who was allegedly detained by elements of the Secretariat of National Defense and Federal agents in a recent operation carried out in the city of Culiacán, Sinaloa.

The Mexican Army said that he was a member of a cell of the Pacific cartel or Sinaloa Cartel.

According to the information gathered, during the operation, the authorities seized a long gun and a short gun.  In addition to magazines, useful cartridges and fentanyl pills.

The operation was announced on Thursday afternoon, May 9, where it was noted that it was an important achievement of the Secretary of National Defense.

The operation was announced at around 4:20 a.m., when neighbors who left their homes in the Los Olivos neighborhood noticed that the streets were full of soldiers, due to the operation that was being carried out at that time.

In the area there were more than 50 elements of the Mexican Army and personnel from the Attorney General's Office, the military personnel were positioned along Salvador Alvarado Boulevard and Felix Castro, where they placed their armored units and then deployed on foot.

The military did not even let them pass along the boulevard, since they were working in coordination with federal authorities.

It was explained that the military went to the building which is painted in white and gray and when they were on the second floor they entered one of the apartments to carry out the operation and secure the property.

At the end of the operation in the Los Olivos neighborhood, the military and federal personnel left the place escorting some civilian units.

It was during this afternoon that it was reported that one person was in custody and that he was a suspect wanted by the authorities for federal crimes.

  6. Another dirtbag off the streets. Let's hope the judge doesn't get paid off and releases this guy back to society. The military should've just put a bullet in his head and made up a story of him pointing a gun at them. Nuff Said!!!

  10. Another fuckin nobody from Sinaloa gets captured only to claim that authorities are doing their job in that state.
If there was ten steps to get to the top of the Sinaloa cartel this guy would barely be in the third or fourth step.
