"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat
A narco message with threats against a regional musical group was found this Friday morning in Region 228 of Cancun.
The order with threats to Fuerza Régida was found in Region 228 of Cancún.
On a blanket placed this morning in a church in Region 228, it is presumed that the American regional Mexican music group Fuerza Regida, who announced a concert in the coming days in the Plaza de Toros, was threatened, the authorities went to the place to remove it, it’s unknown if said event will be canceled and if there is a history of threats.
Through the emergency number 911, the elements of the Municipal Secretariat of Citizen Security and Transit (SMSCyT) learned about the threats which apparently were placed when it was not yet dawn, hours later while teenagers were heading to a high school near a church noticed it.
The authorities mentioned having knowledge about the event scheduled for next April 19. Although they didn’t specify whether the threats made by an alleged criminal group are real, they suggested that the event should be canceled, but it will be up to the promoter who decides whether to continue or not with the event.
Upon arrival, the uniformed officers took the canvas down and handed it over to the Public Ministry, the State Attorney General's Office (FGE) will be in charge of making the corresponding announcements.
This message goes out to the faggot members of Fuerza Regida. We’re going to fucking destroy you guys on April 19 in Cancun. It’ll be the last concert in your bitch lives.
