Los chapitos pay their dues and to add injury to insult they give flakito a heads up on shipments out of Sinaloa belonging to Mayo cells. The rest is history. Which kinda explains why they are doubling down on the Sonora route. Mayo faction is trying to control all the plazas west of Sonora leading up to AZ/Sonora border crossings. I would imagine el Mayo is who might be able to realign & reintegrate most of these independent cells in conflict under the Sinaloa umbrella Mayo faction. Leaving the Chapitos with the smaller end of the stick. Once Mayo is no longer around, now that is going to be interesting.
DeleteYes they still have cells throughout Sonora, in Sonoyta and Nogales and other cities, probably Hermosillo as well but it looks like they’ve lost some of their bigger more important cells that have kept them strong in that state. I’d have to assume mayo has become much stronger in Nogales and if they lost the salazars and paredes then they prolly lost agua prieta and most of chihuahua. They’re definitely in TJ still, maybe not as strong as mayos people but obviously strong enough to still be there. For some reason they have a lot of people in culiacan loyal to them so if they fall those people will either form a new faction or become absorbed by mayo. I’d like to see how things play out in guaymas, Hermosillo, Magdalena and Nogales as Salazar has always kept them strong there. Sonora would be a loss of epic proportions for them as I’ve always felt Sinaloa isn’t much without Sonora.
