"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat
A video is circulating online of an armed group that is offering a half a million pesos for Carmen aka El Sombra, in charge of the Villahermosa prison.
And one hundred thousand pesos for each guard who protects him, and who now provides protection to José Luis Olan aka El Gopes, one of the leaders of the La Baredroa who just yesterday was shot by a rival group.
He was set to be released but the video went viral. The Marina learned about this and processed him into the Villahermosa prison. The gunmen also point out that they’re going after the owners of Cárdenas Unidos.
The video shows a table full of bales of money. They’re obviously not playing around, this group is serious. More than a million pesos can be seen on the table. Along with several long weapons.
The purge has begun. We’re coming after you Carmen aka El Sombra, director of the Villahermosa prison. For protecting Tejerá Jesus Luis Olán Custodio aka El Gope, who escaped us from the town of Comalcalco.
We’re paying a reward of half a million pesos for your head Sombra. And a hundred thousand for every guard who protects Jesus Luis Olán Custodio aka El Gope. Everyone who is protecting him will be killed off. We’re coming after you. And also for you.
* It is rumored that the criminal cell who released a video earlier tonight in which heavily armed men appear. Are now surrounding the family home of this young woman named Gabriela. She has been pointed out as being one of the owners of the Cárdenas Unidos. If this information is real, it means that the subjects within the video are serious and are keeping their word.
