With a collection of toy cars glued to his chest, a man was found shot to death under the La Costerita overpass in the Barrancos sector of Culiacán.

The victim is still unidentified, but according to authorities the body is approximately 30 to 35 years old, of regular build, light brown complexion, he was wearing blue jeans, a black belt and tennis shoes of the same color.

The discovery occurred around 4:00 a.m. today, when an anonymous call to the 911 emergency service reported a lifeless person with traces of blood, lying under the bridge of Libramiento Benito Juárez and Benjamín Hill Avenue, next to one of the pillars that support the construction next to the west eastbound lane.

Upon arriving at the scene, Municipal Police officers confirmed that the body was a man lying face up and at first glance it could be seen that he had several carts placed on his chest, he also had multiple wounds caused by firearm projectiles.

The experts of the State Attorney General's Office ordered the removal of the body for its transfer to the forensic medical service, where it will undergo the legal tests.

  2. Markitos and his family is from Barrancos as well as most of his crew. I wonder if the Toy Cars is a message to Los Toys or if this kid was a car thief in the colonia and got popped for stealing the wrong car… all speculation of course.
