Day 2: 65 Video Surveillance Cameras Now Destroyed By Bullets In Culiacán: Sinaloa

Culiacán, Sin.- As if the 49 video surveillance cameras destroyed on New Year's Eve in Culiacán were not enough, this morning, Tuesday, January 2, there were 65 more cameras!
In a preliminary count by the authorities, 38 points or crossroads where surveillance equipment had been installed were damaged.
These 38 monitoring points represent a total of 65 more "eyes" that are left blind.

The aggression against the video cameras began at 00:54 hours on Tuesday, January 2.

Throughout the early hours of the morning, the armed group, which moved in several vehicles, drove around the city with total impunity looking for their "targets". On social networks, fearful Culiacanenses asked what was going on as they listened to the gunfire for a long period of time.

Security authorities detected at least five vehicles of armed people as the ones responsible for the aggression to the government surveillance system. A gray Chevrolet Spark, another white Spark, a red Nissan March, a gray Jeep Cherokee and an RV4 were observed.

During this time no authorities intervened. There was no patrol of the Municipal Police, State Police, Mexican Army or National Guard to stop the armed men.

    1. City is controlled by chapitos

    2. Culiacán is controlled by both chapitos and mayos . Similar to Nogales one side belongs to chapitos the other side to Mayos and they respect each others territories, the top bosses do but sometimes the low level guys get into conflicts but they handle it between themselves .

    3. It’s gotta be. Either MF or Chapo’s, probably MF since the guys killed these past few days, have been his guys. Some are saying Greñas was killed while ‘protecting’ his patron(aka MF) from escaping. Those cameras have been up for years, and just NOW they decide to light them up?… someone was definitely close to getting grabbed it seems.

    4. Might be wrong and if it is oh well and no I don't have no inside sources lol but this is just my theory nothing but speculation. But what if the military go to close to MF and his sicarios reacted. And what if Ivan lent him support and is destroying the cameras. Since chapitos control more of the city and MZ more of the outskirts and little towns. Might be wrong it's just my theory

  5. Jesus Christ. January 5th, 2022 has forever scarred CDS. If I had to guess, CDS probably thinks the military is planning on capturing another big player early in the year like they did last year, so they’re doing this to prevent law enforcement from being able to monitor their movements. Or maybe CDS is planning something big as retaliation for what happened last year.

  8. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that U.S. 3 letter agencies are utilizing the cameras and using various software tools to gather intel and plan covert operations against key players.

    1. 7:04 - What ? The cameras were set up and are under the control of the secretary of public security for the state Sinaloa, not under the control of any U.S. agency. But who knows ? Maybe the secretary of public security for the state Sinaloa shares his findings with the DEA or some other U.S. agency, although I seriously doubt it.

    2. 9:00 US can easily access those cameras without asking and without anyone knowing.

    3. When in doubt, shut ‘em down.

    4. The biggest enemy in sinaloa for the 3 letters agency is the paid gob itself.

    5. Us three letter agencies aren’t planning covert operations through these cameras.

  10. This can’t be no coincidence. Something is up in Culiacán… haven’t those cameras been up for years?, I remember seeing footage of those since the Culiacanazo days. Now, they want them down?…. Interesting. Seems odd, there’s gotta be a big motive behind it now.
