If you are a victim of vehicle theft, authorities say it should be reported immediately to emergency numbers.

Vehicle thefts continue to be the order of the day in the city of Culiacán.

According to statistics from the Secretaría de Seguridad Pública y Tránsito Municipal de la capital sinaloense, during the first weeks of 2024, the average number of stolen vehicles remains between five and six per day.

They call to be alert, ask to report any suspicious situation to 911.

This situation has set off the alarm bells in the police corporations, so they recommend citizens to be aware of any suspicious situation and report it immediately to the emergency numbers.

"If we see any type of car that seems suspicious to us personally, that is not from the area, immediately report it to 911, so that the authorities arrive, the closest unit," said Sergio Antonio Leyva Lopez, Secretary of Public Safety in Culiacan.

  1. People say how cds doesn’t harm innocent civilians what a load of shit just look here either
That or they have no control over what people do in Culiacán ? When the likes of cdn gets terrible press yet Nuevo Laredo is actually a relatively safe city with a low crime and murder rate a city we’re cdn has full control and yes businesses and corner stands are expected to report any police military movements but they are not extorted in Nuevo Laredo cdn making too much 💵 from controlling that plaza they don’t need to extort

  5. Chapeters need to generate money since sleepy joe decided to beg them to stop selling fent. Ovidio was a wake up call. An increase in human smuggling by the Sinaloa cartel is another example showing that the United States drug appetite is not the reason these pos are criminals. They were just born that way….

    1. Hi Queso
You still butthurt that Biden won the election?
Biden never begged a cartel to stop fentanyl.
He did established meeting with AMLO, to do something about it.

  6. At 1:37 That was in the past. Times have changed. No more money from Fent. People don't want to admit it but it looks like they have been given the okay to make a living anyway they want (no rules). It is getting worse everyday.

  7. Los Angeles has about 80 car break ins every single day and about 20 stolen cars per day.

    1. Los Angeles has a population of 3.8 million. If 20 cars are stolen daily, that's 1 car theft for every 240,000 people.
Culiacán has a population of 900,000. If 5 cars are stolen daily, that's 1 car theft for every 180,000 people.
Per capita, more cars are stolen in Culiacán than Los Angeles.

    2. But Los Angeles is not Mexico. You would think they could do better to prevent it. Moreover, look at the stats from the 70s when the LA population was smaller, crime was actually up.

  14. My dream has always been to steal a Ferrari, strip it of every part down to the chassis, leave it on the street to be towed, have a spy at DMV to tell me when it's gonna be auctioned off, buy it for pennies on the dollar, reassemble, register legally, drive round and round the lonesome town and impress the common folks..

  15. Have the cars stolen are prob set up .... If they were real smart though they would take their cars to the chop shop get paid there and then call their insurance and report it stolen and get a check from them but just make sure they have full coverage .... That way u get paid twice . Like two birds with one stone
