By "El Huaso" For Borderland Beat

The contributors at Borderland Beat aim to cover newsworthy and relevant stories related to organized crime and security in Mexico. However, this means that we sometimes miss the many small footprints left by organized crime groups around the country. This article aims to cover more of these events which do not merit a full article.

Guerrero, Chilpancingo - Two decapitated bodies were found alongside a highway, reported Quadratin Guerrero.

Zacatecas, Tabasco - After a gunfight, armed men entered a secondary school, apparently to find cover, reported journalist Ángel Martínez on Twitter/X.

Guerrero, Acapulco - One woman was killed and another eight were injured after gunmen opened fire at a bar reported Quadratin Guerrero.

Guanajuato, Silao - The employee of a tortilla shop was killed by armed gunmen, reported AM Noticias.
Chihuahua, Madera - A rural narco camp was dismantled, reported La Opcion.

Veracruz, Tlapacoyan - In two separate events, two taxi drivers were killed, reported Imagen Veracruz.
