The Secretary of National Defense announced the arrest of Cesar "N", Carmen "N" and Oscar "N", members of a cell dedicated to drug trafficking to the United States.

In a statement made public this Saturday, the Sedena affirmed that César "N" is one of the priority targets generating violence and represents a threat to society, in addition to being considered the alleged leader of a criminal cell with a presence in the states of Sinaloa, Sonora and Baja California.

Following the arrest of José Guadalupe Tapia Quintero, a key operator of Ismael "El Mayo" Zambada, arrested on February 9, it is presumed that César "N" was left in charge of the criminal cell, continuing the drug trafficking from Culiacán, Sinaloa, to Tijuana and Mexicali, Baja California, to later introduce it to the United States of America, through different modalities.

SEDENA assured that the actions were carried out in strict compliance with the rule of law and with full respect for human rights; the detainees were handed over to the corresponding authorities, who will determine their legal status.

In a press release, the SEDENA said that on August 9 and 10, the arrests were carried out as part of joint operations involving the National Guard and the Mexican Army, in coordination with the National Intelligence Fusion Center (CENFI), attached to the National Intelligence Center (CNI), the Special Prosecutor's Office for Organized Crime (FEMDO), the Criminal Investigation Agency (AIC) of the Attorney General's Office (FGR) and the Sinaloa Public Security Secretariat (SSP).

    1. That’s crazy if that is the real reason and not that zambada gave them up. It’s been fascinating to follow the chariots and see how long they last. Ivan seems serious about not going back to prison
