Nine Vehicles Seized And One Search Warrant In The 'Tamarindo' Area: Sinaloa

A total of nine vehicles were seized in the Villa Adolfo López Mateos "El Tamarindo" syndicate, as a result of the operations implemented by the Mexican Army, National Guard and State Preventive Police, and a search warrant was requested for a home where it is presumed that there are illicit objects.

This was announced by the Secretary of Public Security, Cristóbal Castañeda Camarillo, through his social networks.

He commented that in Tamarindo five vehicles with a theft report and a cloned National Guard patrol car and a cloned Navy patrol car were seized.

During Tuesday's operation in Culiacán and Navolato, in which there were road blockades, there were no arrests or confrontations, informed the secretary.

The information indicates that the events took place between 7:00 and 8:00 a.m. this day, after a report of suspicious vehicles was received in the El Tamarindo syndicate.

The municipality of Navolato is set to be controlled by an individual that goes by "El 11" his reportedly a high ranking lieutenant with the Los Chapitos faction of the Sinaloa Cartel. A narco corrido by La Ventaja and Panchito Arredondo called "El de Navolato" says the following about El 11,

A source pointed out that one of the seized cloned navy vehicles today had the following code on the driver side door "192709" and the meaning behind 19 and 09 -Nini codes and 27 for Perris code. Thank you!! to the source for pointing out the "192709" code. Nestor Isidro Perez Salas "Nini" and Jorge Humberto Figueroa Benitez "27" or "Perris" are leaders in the Chapitos' security apparatus according to the US government. 

Twitter users also pointed out that about 5 roadblocks where reported in the municipality of Navolato, Sinaloa.
