The director of the Culiacán Municipal Police was removed from office due to threats and the deputy director for possible acts of corruption, revealed the Secretary of State Public Security, Cristóbal Castañeda Camarillo.
Director Ernesto Alonso Báez Pérez was removed from the post due to threats and returned to the ranks of the State Preventive Police. He was appointed as director in November 2022. He had been working as an Operational Supervisor of the State Preventive Police and had previously held the position of Director of Public Security of the municipalities of Badiraguato, Concordia, and El Fuerte.
Deputy Director José Luis Leal Lomas of the Municipal Police was dismissed for possible acts of corruption and sent to the police union.
He had been appointed last year in August after the previous deputy Juan Miguel Silva Alvarado "Boxer" was assassinated just hours after his promotion.
The Internal Control Body of the Ministry of Public Safety and Municipal Transit initiated an investigation. Eliab Zatarain was appointed as Director of the Police and Benjamín Villarreal as Deputy Director as their replacements.

The power struggle between the chapitos and mayos to get their guy in
ReplyDeleteHas there ever been an official statement from either side, that there really is a conflict?
Delete443 yes its been reported here at BB for like two years. Fangirls living in denial
Delete@448 — then why don’t we see any actual conflicts within Cuilacan between the two groups? Let alone Sinaloa?
DeleteI’m not a fanboy of any of them, but I’m not an idiot who believes the narrative when it comes to wars.
Wars are fought WITH the people, not for the people..
906, the gob and his people pull the strings from behind in sinaloa and we just see the result with the actions of mayos and chapos people
Delete9:06 porque son bien culos, they rather snitch on eachother
Delete@906 — you nailed it.. their PEOPLE; I’m positive they all get along fine on the top
Deletei live in cln and their is no power strugle or conflict everything calm ass fuck
Delete@907 — my point exactly.. at the top, they all are still married.. happily.
Delete09:06 Culiacan is the kingdom of Chapitos. Mayitos don’t operate in Culiacan.
DeleteEl Ruso was banished from the kingdom and forced to leave to the border plazas which they now control Sonora and Baja California with alliances with La Linea.
Let the snitching and backstabbing began, this is the reality of the CDS
ReplyDeleteReal journalism is dead ! Which is why Sol Prendido (other articles about cds)gives his opinion of the story instead of the facts.
ReplyDeleteThis is a blog , not a newspaper , I read this blog to get Sol's opinions and the other bloggers , his translations are great and humourous , the facts are always there !
DeleteI agree with you.
Delete1:39 you could always leave instead of sticking around like a hypocrite. It's not like anyone is gonna miss you anyways. 😄
DeleteThe entire state police force of Sinaloa should be investigated for corruption and collusion with the Sinaloa Cartel. Also, the Mexican marines should hunt down Ismael Zambada García and Los Chapitos.
ReplyDeleteGreat plain and obvious statement! Of course that should be happened years ago. Seriously , a public outright cartel member should just be appointed to these positions. Why? Because it’s all bullshit anyways. Whatever poor sap gets in these positions has to bow down to the genocidal warlords or get chopped up and their parts strewn about!
DeleteIf u believe in justice here in the US or any other country , you are delusional , its all politics and money , u can get away with how much you can afford , simple as that, the marina answers to someone who answers to someone that answer's to someone with more money and power and so on and the same happens here in the US and every country in the world

ReplyDeleteCan anyone tell me what ever happens to the crooked cops or officials that are snitched about, during the pre-execution interrogations of the captives?
ReplyDeleteMore than likely they follow up on that Intel and roll that mfr up if they can get their hands on him.
Delete@Sol — you would think, especially in those small towns… but likely the higher up the official, the less likely they get touched by anyone..
DeletePlata o plomo...o ambos
ReplyDeleteMore like plata or homo…
