Video Shows Gunmen Open Fire at Quinceañera Party in Villagran, Guanajuato

By "El Huaso" for Borderland Beat

One man was killed and four more were injured after gunmen opened fire at a quinceañera celebration in Villagran, Guanajuato.

The attack occurred around 9:00 p.m. at Fiestas Cesar's, an events space in the neighborhood of Mexicanos in Villagran. Video shows people dancing, when the happy moment is interrupted by gunfire. Partygoers spring to their feet and panic takes control of the room as people scream and run.

    1. Pinchi criminals were not invited to the party 🎉. So they shoot the place up.
      They know police won't respond.

    2. Sometimes I wonder if parties and bars are shot up because the business is connected, or if out of the desire to cause maximum terror and harm, criminals target places where people are enjoying themselves, like the monster Grendel from Beowulf, who exists in misery and despises the happiness of others.

What strategic value do weddings, kids birthday parties, and family pools have for criminal groups?

    5. This happened to a lot of businesses in Torreon, Coahuila . The cartels had problems with certain owners, and they would come in and shoot up their innocent clients. This happened in stores, doctor’s offices , bars… It happened at a party rental area there too. People attending a family party were killed because it was pay back time for the owner of the party rental place.

    6. El Huaso, 10pts for literary reference of the day on BB 🌟Beowulf's author often uses various substitute phrases for Grendel's name like this one, the mearc stapa ("mark-stepper"), an inhabitant of the borderland. Rather fitting, me thinks

    7. 4:04 I wonder too, if these innocent parties are used as cannon fodder, as the monsters know it will bring great shame to the family (father may be enemy?) that hosts them.
